  • I've never been fitted for a bra in my life. I've always just bought what I felt fit properly. For a lark, I followed your measuring instructions, and, lo and behold, came up with the size I've pretty much always worn. I am looking forward to that size becoming smaller in the future, though, and will keep your measuring…
  • Wow, you are an inspiration! That's a great loss in only one year. Congratulations! Tomorrow will be my six month anniversary on here and I've only lost 46 - so maybe I'll be at 80 or so when my one year anniversary rolls around. But it will still be so much better than where I was last April 3rd. Thanks for the…
  • Feel free to add me if you wish. I, too, have a very long way to go. But if you break it down into small goals, it will seem so much more attainable. Tomorrow will be my six month anniversary of starting here and I have lost some, but still have much, much more to lose. I know that without the support and encouragement of…
  • New Brunswick!
  • I wish for you this week to be a better, less difficult week - I hope things will improve. And despite all that you still had a great two pound loss - congrats!
  • Thanks, Keri. Getting up to pee anywhere from two to four times in the night doesn't help with the sleep issue either. :ohwell: But my bladder must be adjusting because periodically I sleep through the night without getting up to use the bathroom now. I hope you're schedule calms down now that fall is here and that your…
  • Well, it's only three months now till Christmas! I hope everyone will be able to reach their goals by that time! I lost three pounds this week, but I don't really feel like I did that well. I still have to work on eating less carbs, sugar, and sodium. I guess that should be one of my goals for the coming weeks. I do think…
  • I used to drink at least some everyday. It was either Diet Coke, Diet Pepsi, or Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi. Hardly ever drink it now - I certainly cannot drink a full bottle or cup (if it's fountain soda.) A sip or two is more than enough for me. But I didn't make a conscious effort to stop drinking it. I just started…
  • I think my vacation did catch up with me a bit this week. But I still lost half a pound, so I'll take it. I did get my water in everyday, well 8 glasses at least, but more like 10 and 12 the majority of the days (and even one 14 glass day!) I walked every day except Monday, and I ate more fruit and vegetables, but there is…
  • These look good - I must try them! Thanks for sharing!
  • Oh, I love anything pumpkin-y. Will definitely have to try these. Thanks for sharing!
  • You are doing all the right things - I think it's only a matter of time before that scale will start to move. Have you noticed your clothes becoming looser? Maybe you are getting slimmer, but building more muscle, so the scale is staying the same, but you are, in fact making progress? Just a thought. But I know how…
  • I'm the same way, have lost just over 40 and there's not really a visible difference (though my pants have gotten much larger. LOL!) I guess that's just how it is when you have a lot to lose. But, we will continue down this road and eventually, there will be a visible difference. I have to keep telling myself that losing…
  • Well, after that long weekend away, eating out for three meals a day, I was amazed to have lost 3.1 at weigh-in on Saturday. I hope it doesn't catch up with me next week! I caught a bad cold on Thursday and have been under the weather since, plus it's TOM, so I have had a bit of trouble meeting some of my goals last week.…
  • Well, I think you're doing great and you just don't need to listen to negative people. You are on your way to being in the 200's - I was so happy when it happened for me and can't wait till I can change that first number again (but it's gonna be awhile, LOL!) Just keep believing in yourself - YOU CAN DO THIS!
  • I too, want to lose around 100 pounds (or more, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it, LOL!) Feel free to add me if you want!
  • Hey everyone! We are back from our trip to the US (Boston) - a day late and probably a lot more than a dollar short. I hate to even think about the credit card bill. LOL! We did some shopping, eating, sightseeing, went to a couple of ball games... I ate horribly. Logged everything, but went over my calories every day. Did…
  • Thanks. we're really looking forward to our trip - two more days! Yep, I'm Canadian, too - from all the way on the east coast. All our teams are in Boston, though, so we usually go down once or twice every year. The biggest challenge on this road trip will be to stay under my calories and sodium, since we'll be eating in…
  • Same here in Canada - our gas is about 1.30 per litre, so not much less. There are lots of people that just simply cannot afford the gas or the gym membership. But I still agree that it's an excuse, though, because you can walk, jog, run, or bike with very little expense, if you really want to exercise.
  • OK, I gained 0.4 pounds this week, but I know that I stayed 99% on track for the week and if I continue doing the same things, the numbers will come down over the long term, so I'm not too bummed. I drank tons of water, between 10 and 13 cups everyday except for yesterday (where I just got the minimal 8), so I reached that…
  • Mmmmmmmm, those sound yummy!
  • This sounds like something I will have to try! I've never heard of spray butter before, though - wonder if I can get that around here!?!
  • OK, I'll update tonight, since I won't be online till Monday evening (if at all, it's hubby's night off tomorrow, so we may go to a movie or for a walk on the beach or something, who knows?) I weighed in on Saturday - hope that's OK - but it's what I've been doing since the beginning, so I thought it might be better to…
  • Yay us! :drinker:
  • I was always having a hard time with the water, too. I hardly ever logged it because I wasn't really keeping track, though I was making a conscious effort to try and drink more. Now because of this challenge, I am keeping track of and logging all my water and have had 11 glasses today, 10 yesterday, and 12 on Wednesday.…
  • These sound like a must-try!
  • That's great - congrats on that wonderful achievement! It is my goal to be able to participate in a waterpark outing next summer, so thanks for the inspiration!
  • Oh, I'd like to play, too. I'm new to this whole forum thing (but I've been using the app on my phone for a few months) so let me know if I'm not doing it right. I'm 43 and I've been married for 22 years. I have three sons; the oldest just finished college and is working from home, the middle one is soon to start his…
  • Wow, those sound really good - can't wait to try them. Thanks!
