You are young and CAN DO THIS! I have never liked to exercise. I have been trying to lose the "last 10" for years. I tried Weight Watchers, NutriSystem, HydroxiCut, EVERYTHING! I found this website a couple of weeks ago while trying to find a free calorie counter. I have been so impressed with the people on here and all of…

OMG!!!!!!! This thing is SOOOOOOOOOOO awesome!!! You have to get one! I have been on it for about 35 minutes now and have tried a bunch of different exercises. It is cool because it makes you master certain skills before unlocking a harder workout. For example, a run - it makes you go for only 3 minutes at a time until you…

it is this "game" that goes with your Wii (or your husbands Wii:laugh: ). It looks like a scale and you stand on it and do yoga, step aerobics, soccer, ALL KINDS of fitness activities - but it is so fun, it's not really like exercise. I think they cost about $90

How about that new Wii Fit??? Anyone have one? I really want to get one, I saw some video of it online yesterday and looks like fun. Great for those of us with little ones we can't get away from or other time issues! I'm curious if anyone has tried it and how you like it?

sounds great! i even feel motivated from this thread! i'm going to visit Land's End website right now!

EAT YOUR EXERCISE CALORIES!!! with less to lose, your body is freaking out! trust me, i did the EXACT same thing and started losing again about 2.5 weeks after I started eating my exercise calories. LESS IS NOT MORE HERE!

GREAT ADVISE!

Thinking positive is great for you, but sometimes you need a real life "band-aid" for your problem! I say, go out and buy a great new suit that looks fantastic on you! Reward yourself a little for your success and look HOT when you go! Around here, the new trend is long board shorts with a cute swimsuit top - I personally…

also, do you have a scale that shows body fat %? maybe you are trading fat for muscle so not losing, that would be nice!

can someone post something from Banks on less to lose here? I don't know how to do this, but I had the same question and it really helped me. I didn't lose ANYTHING when I started here for almost 3 weeks. Then all of a sudden I lost 2 pounds and 1% body fat. Now I am going good. I also read a post a few days ago about how…

how about boiling them for a couple of hours in chicken broth and a can of tomatoes with jalepenos - then shred them up and put on a salad with some avocado on top, maybe a tiny bit of shredded cheese if you can afford the calories. another idea: roast a few tomatillos (cut in 1/2 and place open side down in nonstick…

Strength training for shin splints: put a dish towel on a wood or tile floor (or other smooth surface) use your toes to scrunch it up and push it back out this will strengthen that muscle and help decrease the shin splints, eventually go away

I count it. I don't want to get in the habit of not counting it just because I don't think it has very many calories. It's practically nothing, but you might be shocked at how many calories some veggies have!

I like the 100 cal paks of cookies - oreo is my favorite.
-
how about raspberry yogurt with a some fresh raspberries and 1/2 crushed graham cracker on top

I really wanted Amanda to win too, but doesn't 2nd place get $250K? If she and Ozzy are together and they both got 2nd place then they have 1/2 mil between them - not bad!!!!!!!!!! (Super cute couple, don't you think?) How shocked were you at Ozzy's jury "confession"?!?!?!?!?!? Felt bad for James getting pulled for…

good news story. yes, it sucks that it takes a little longer to see results, but they also said women benefit from longer, less intense exercise - so a nice long brisk walk to the grocery store sounds good to me!!!

I'm not an expert, but this sounds right to me. I don't think your body's metabolism is going to be very much affected by 1 day of fasting. Banks - you said in a recent post of yours that change in eating habits takes time to really affect metabolism, it can't happen overnight. I can certainly see the logic in this. I also…

I looked up doughnut once and it said 118 calories, then i looked closer and it was for a really small one, a regular size one (like from a bakery) was like 250   - so double check the size, if it sounds too good to be true it usually is, right?

Oh. Thanks:smile:
