I'm a redneck at heart. Put me behind the wheel of a V8 Camaro, and I'm in heaven.

I used to write software. Now I sell it. My wife is a registered vet tech.

Thanks to her. :)

Would accept couples counseling. Always room for improvement, right?

Offer to make you a chocolate soufflé.

I think you know your answer. That said... The $64,000 question is can you support your family on the modest salary alone? I'm in a commissioned sales job, too. When I took it, I accepted a cut in my base pay - but I made sure my budget would fit within my base pay. I consider the commissions gravy, and I use them to…

I like to game when I can find the time. I always pre-order new systems as early as possible... XBOX, XBOX 360, XBOX ONE, Wii, Wii U, DS, 3DS and so on. I have 2 teenage boys. They take it for granted when I new system comes out, we get it on release day. They have no idea how lucky they are. I've told them but they don't…

No issue with people being who they are. However, overweight folk do inconvenience others sometimes - even worse than those who talk during the movie. Try taking a middle seat on a transcontinental flight between 2 people who cannot fit in their own seats and you'll see what I mean. It's not just annoying; it's downright…

Excellent observation. I'm thinking the credit/loan industry - especially those that offer overpriced credit to the poor like payday loans or pawn shops - is another that's reliant on constant failure. I look at dieting/fitness in the same light as I do financial health. With proper eating, one regulates the input against…

I think mid-40s is the PERFECT age.

LOL! No... But I asked and she gave me the "hairy eyeball" look. I'll ask again, soon.

Thanks! If I had your guns, I might be able to win a few wrasslin' matches with my wife. I'm trying to get there!

Love it! I used to fly with my dad in a Beech Bonaza. He's not able to fly anymore due to medical reasons. I miss our weekend trips. A nice private plane trumps any car, any day. :drinker:

A old, beater Chevy S10, a Kawasaki jet ski and - during the week - US Air between RDU and PHL all too often.

The room cleared out. Looks like no one else could hold their liquor other than me and you, Phoenix.

A sumo wrestler will come up with a profile that says "a few extra pounds" and ruin it for everyone.

Pull up your pants.

Here's the recipe... 1 roll makes 2 servings. I typically cut 4-5 discs out of 1 roll. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1290743-two-hearts-terrine-261-cals-18g-fat-5g-carbs-20g-protein

I didn't work there... just went to a few fun classes at The Disney Institute. I have a few other recipes I learned to make there that'll I'll share someday. One of the better ones is Chocolate S'mores Soufflé. Imagine a chocolate soufflé base in a Graham cracker crust, mini marsh mellows, and Godiva caramel liqueur for…

I work for a very large company. It's not unusual to talk to someone on the phone for a year or two before meeting them face-to-face - if ever. We have a corporate directory with photos and mine is from when I was about 40-50lbs lighter. Anyways, I'm sitting in a conference room having already introduced myself to a group…

And these I do eat... Two Hearts Terrine. I have them with mixed greens salad drizzled with warm olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Two Hearts Terrine is heart of palm wrapped in smoked salmon which is then rolled in a mixture of cream cheese, shrimp, artichoke hearts, shallots, capers, Parmesan cheese, parsley, Dijon…

Food I made but would not eat due to calories.... Pumpkin spice crème brûlée, lemony blackberry crème brûlée, and just plain crème brûlée.

Well... I married one. Fair skin, freckles, almond shaped blue eyes. She's definitely on the fiery side.

I got one from Costco a little over a week ago. It's a very strong machine and easy to clean. I use it for banana protein smoothies and have also made orange smoothies. Peel the orange, halve it, and the blender does the rest. Absolutely no pulp left behind. There may be better values out there My wife asked for one and I…

I haven't seen the science to back this up... but personal experiences leads me to believe it's true. Anytime I've stopped drinking Diet Coke, my appetite and cravings have been curbed. Since I've started exercising and eating healthier foods, I'm finding my energy levels are higher, so I don't "require" caffeine any more.…

Which HRM and/or app are you using? I've been looking for something that uses VO2 max as part of the calculations.
