It has been better the past couple of days. I have given up some of my prepackaged snacks for veggies and swapped out fruit for veggies that I can have more of. All of your suggestions were very helpful and have given me some great ideas. You are all very appreciated!

I don't want to feel stuffed. Here is the way it usually goes though, oatmeal in the morning 7am, snack around 9:30 is usually an apple, orange, or the like. Lunch about noon that is reasonable, then at 2:00 I am starving the rest of the day and nothing makes the hunger subside. What in the world makes a body do that?…

I'm in. I totally have a sweet tooth I start battling every day at 2:00.

I have a similar issue as I am sitting in my son's karate class now. I really only get 3 or 4 good workouts in a week. At least one of those happens at home. We have joined our local civic center gym. It's a great option because we can all go together as a family. My son can go play basketball while the hubs does weights…

Take hope that stubborn fat, once lost correctly, is less likely to come back. I'm in a rut myself, about 7 lbs from my goal. And that is the first of 2 or 3 goals because I try to be realistic. You can do it. Just keep on keeping on!

You got this girl! I have been battling three freaking pounds for a couple weeks now. I lose it and then it is back. Eventually you'll get past this one and move on to another one that is just as stubborn. Don't give up. Just keep swimming! (Nemo reference there in case it is lost!)

My music is usually Rage Against the Machine. It makes me feel like a badass as I power walk my suburban neighborhood. The other mommies have no idea!

I guess I am wondering if any one still looks at this group, but I am Carole. Been in TN for my entire 34.25 years.

Thank you. Two it was. And I am a Tagalong girl!

I know you said don't laugh, but I'm dying! Mainly because I have reweighed myself after too!

How well do you know them? I guess that would make a big difference in how to approach. If they are strangers, just avoid bread and eat a little of everything so it doesn't look like you hated it.

Starting over now beats starting later. Good for you taking the first walk today and doing something. Dont be discouraged.

All I can say is AMEN! But still trying to be the person that doesn't clue them in.

Hi. I am new to the group as well. My biggest motivator was the a health tracker I got last year. It made a huge difference in what I did. I started parking further from the door, walking to deliver papers instead of email, etc. So good for you for making a start. My son is 12 so I think I am past the point where I can…

I find most of my meals on pinterest. There is a lot of crock pot meal ideas, unfortunately, not all of them healthy. I have found a few that are great though. My favorite so far is a chicken tortilla soup.

Hi there! I am 5'8". My beginning weight in Oct was 167. Current weight is 155. Goal weight is 145. I don't have a deadline for myself, just to keep moving in the right direction. I may even move my goal once I get to it but didn't want to be unreasonable with myself since that tends to make me do nothing.

I have the same issue. I try to stay busy and not snack. Also, I plan out my day ahead of time for calories so that I know how much I can afford to snack. Yesterday I knew we had people coming over for dinner so I made sure to exercise in the morning so I could eat & drink a little more :)

I'm a big fan of Zumba and my Just Dance games on the Wii. Its fun and I always break a sweat.
