I have my 4th marathon coming up in 8 weeks. While it would seem running 5 days a week would be helpful, I've gained weight slowly overtime by not watching my intake. Hoping I can shed 5-10 lbs before April and finish within my time goal.

I am also 5'8" and was shooting for 135. I have stalled at 140. I am working out every day (almost) still counting and measuring and nothing seems to make a change. I am seeing some changes in the mirror though and have been pleased with that. I think that needs to be our goal and not a number on the scale necessarily. BUT…

I agree with everyone who says you are better off with out this guy. This is not the type of person I would miss in my forever. Feel blessed that you get to move on sooner rather than later!

Age: 34 Height: 5'8" SW: 167 CW: 139 GW: 135 I've been sticking to 1400-1500 per day and eating back most of my excercise calories. Jillian Michaels videos every morning at 4am was my turning point. I've struggled for the past 3 months to get below 140 but finally hit 139.6 this morning!

Yes from a computer. Not sure on the phone app.

I've been bouncing around in the last 6-8 pounds for over a month now with no real progress on the scale. Its hard to keep focused but I am seeing changes in my body and strength that have been positive so I just keep going...

I do if I am hungry. I usually keep it at about 50-75% though.

2 hard boiled eggs. I pack it to go so it makes it easy. Keeps me full & low cal. On the weekends, I have more but that is my go to.

I'm 34 & 5'8". I started at 168, now at 141. I guess my goal is around 135 but once I am under 140 my goal is to look toned and start getting definition. My original goal was 145 but I got there and decided I wasn't done yet.
-
I did it for 60 days and saw some pretty good changes. Not a ton of weight loss but good toning. I would recommend it. I just recently moved on to her video ripped in 30 which is the same idea, but a little more difficult from what I see so far.

Day 30 done! Moving on to Ripped tomorrow.

Day 26 done on this round. 3 more days to go. I went ahead and ordered Ripped in 30 to start next. Hoping it is a little different and will jump start my body change again.
-
I'm right there with you. It is still so tough! Let me know what you think of ripped. I am looking for something new to start as well. I am just concerned about my time constraint in the morning. If I get up any earlier I'll hardly be sleeping!

Level 3 day 1! Now I remember why it was so tough last time.
-
This is exactly where I am at. My original goal was 145 so I have made it to 144 and you would think I'm trying to do something crazy to move down to my new goal of 9 more pounds. If one more person calls me Skinny Minnie I am going to scream! I appreciate the people who say I look thin because if I had done this an…

I've just been using the dance cardio station on Pandora. It's worked out good for the most part.

Day 6 of Level 2. Still moving along. Love that it was something I could take along and do on my work trip and not miss a beat. Still not getting changes as quick as I did in the first 30 day cycle but I swear my abs are under there somewhere!

Amen!

Day one Level Two. I remember why I didn't care for this level the last time... Burning legs!

I don't do change well myself. It is also out of my comfort zone to do things on my own. I actually made that kind of a goal for the year and so far it has really paid off. Truly, you don't have to make a decision today and do it today, just make sure over time you move toward what you want. Kind of the same thing we are…

Day 10 of Level 1 done. I did a little bit of level 2 again. Trying to prepare myself for tomorrow morning :)

First, I am sorry about your friend. I can't imagine a loss like that. As far as deciding what you want for the rest of your life, if this isn't it, I think you need to find what is. What are you passionate about and what do you enjoy doing? If you find something that you love that you can turn into a career, you'll never…

Use it as a reminder of how easy it is to lose track. Keep moving forward. Don't punish yourself just be more aware. If this is what you really want, in 30 days, yesterday won't matter. I went over for a few days in a row this week but in my end game, it'll be a wash.

The first time I did it, I remember day 3 of level 1 the best. I avoided stairs at all cost. The pain fades though and it gets so much better!
-
Hey everyone! I haven't checked in for about a week, but I had restarted Level 1. Today was day 9. I have been a little frustrated because I am not getting the speedy results like I did the first time around so today I tried to do Level 2 as well. I made it through the first circuit until I realized that I had not yet had…

If you freeze bananas and then put them in the food processor with some peanut butter, it tastes just like ice cream but healthier. Or consider frozen yogurt, at least it is less calories. You don't have to quit having things you love to win at this. You may just need to change the amount you have.

I have heard RI30 is difficult. Just from doing the first day today, it is totally different doing the second time. And I am hoping that day 4, I don't get the leg pain I got on the first go around.
