Yes. I am a planner. My hubby and I pre-plan and precook. For example we will bbq a weeks worth of b/s chicken breasts, a pot of quinoa and a wok full of veggies made up ever Sunday. He can eat that every day for the rest of his life but I cant so sometimes we switch it up. Lean ground beef, quinoa and spinach taco salads…

I find that showing up full helps me a little. What about asking your friends to help. You can plan events that aren't centered around food for a while. Or if food is a must then they can help you with better choices. I have a friend that is always willing to share meals with me so that I can get a little bit of goodness…

The worst part for me was not knowing how to use the equipment. Most gyms will set you up with a trainer for a time or two. i would uses that time to have them show you how to uses the machines effectively. Sometimes people jump on a machine and dont use it properly. not only is it wasting your time but you can get hurt. I…

One of my go to's is chicken salad. You can use it in a sandwich or even with lettuce as a wrap if you need to cut some carbs. I generally make a big batch for the week and don't quite measure but this should be about right. You can play with the ratios. The chicken will absorb the moisture. 2 cooked chicken breast halves,…

My hubby eats it plain with chicken. I have made it with cucumber, tomato, feta etc. A spicy version with black beans. I want to try it as a breakfast. I have stuffed peppers with it too. I stuffed plabanos once with black beans and spices it and it was good.

That is amazing.!Over the years my hubby has attempted to help me but it generally results in frustration. He has enough discipline for both of us. And I have none. When I told him about MFP and how it works he said "That's great. You have to find out what works for you." Normally he tries to us his plan for me and doesn't…

Have you played around with smoothies? I have a carb freak teenager who would live on bagels and fruit. We get Muscle Egg Whites (plain) and toss them in a blender with berries, pineapple apple/or pear, a carrot, yellow squash and spinach that has been frozen (if its fresh it changes the color on the smoothie and he wont…

I have been supplementing with PB2. My hubby just sent me this article this morning (http://foodbabe.com/2012/09/16/the-truth-about-pb2-powdered-peanut-butter/) so I guess Im back to moderation with the Adam's PB.

I am not a huge ice cream fan but when I am trying to cut out unhealthy treats I seem to love frozen goodies. I think frozen grapes are my favorite. I also occasionally make smoothies. I use water as the base, apple, berries, pineapple and throw in a veggies like squash and spinach. The berries cover up the veggies and…
