Does that include headbanging?

Moderately nefarious Like Don Draper, you are moderately nefarious. You walk on the dark side of humanity, but your ruthless streak may just help you get ahead.

5'6" goal weight of 150lbs and will go from there.

I'm 5'6" and slightly pear shaped. Jeans fit me a little better when I'm in the routine of going to the gym vs. only watching what I eat. When I run my legs tighten up a lot and I can slip into jeans easier- don't have so much upper front thigh to squeeze in.

Same! It takes me 30lbs to go down a jean size. I'm 183, 12, and not expecting, from past experiences, to hit a size 10 until 160. I have even been slightly below 160 before and still don't fit into a 10 comfortablely- my hips are too wide and I have a big butt. Most people said I'm "too skinny" when I hit a lose 12.

You have dimples now in your after pictures  *pinch*

Only 17lbs in a year, but the healthy relationship I built between my body and food in the mean time was worth it! Get into a routine you can stick with, be very consistent, and time will start to fly by.

Every Sunday I go to the grocery store and stock up on the fresh veggies and meat that I need to the week. I pre-cut all my meat into individual, weighed pieces. All my produce is chopped into the sizes I need for the meals I will be making. Only takes me a good hour or so to chop and baggie everything. Now that all the…

For pure weight loss, It does not matter what foods you eat. Some days I have only pop and take out, some days I only drink water and keep to veggies and protein. I lose weight at the same rate as long as I stay under my calorie goal. As the above poster said, you will probably go hungry on 1200 cals of sugar compared to…

You look like a completely different person! If I saw you on the street I would never think you weighed 101lbs more in the past- you wear it quite well. Keep us updated on your future progress?

Different brands run larger and some run smaller. The ones at the Walgreen fits me perfectly according to the label but if I buy DKNY with the same size/weight I can't get them over my knees! I think it also depends on the thickness. If they are thicker you will need to buy quite a couple sizes bigger than thinner ones.

I'm Italian, my family is always pushing food one me. On days I know I'm going to my grandparent's house I make a really small breakfast (egg white omelette with veggies), skip lunch, and eat a large dinner. From experience if I'm open about my weight loss goals it seems like they push even harder so I don't mention it any…

I would make a food journal with pictures and descriptions, to make it fun. Just a suggestion  Have fun on your vacation

Forgot to mention my other post that soup is a great way to get veggies in. Keep all the veggie end pieces that you would normally throw out from your other meals, freeze them in a baggie and keep adding to it- when you have a huge bag filled you can make a broth base with it. How to make broth/soup on stovetop: Take all…

I make my savory oatmeal with lightly fried (olive oil) mushrooms in Cajun seasonings, over easy egg, and a couple egg whites, hot sauce, it fills me up with the least amount of calories. Sometimes I add a dollop of greek yogurt to make it creamy. Steel cut oats are the best for savory recipes IMO.

Write everything down on a little pad of paper to keep you in the habit of logging. Only eat until you are comfortably full- harder said than done lol. Pick the foods you really want to try and leave the empty calories. Only drink wine or calorie heavy liquids during one meal of the day. Share desserts with a friend.

Roasted veggies are my favorite. It caramelizes the natural sugars and makes the veggies a little sweeter but smokey tasting at the same time. You can make them in the oven and if you have a built in broiler, turn that on for a couple minutes before you pull them out of the oven for crispy, slightly burnt edges. Here's a…

@niajones95 My siblings (big family) are the same way. I was always the heaviest when we were younger. Now that we are grown up I'm the thinner one and no one has anything smart @** to say about it now!

Unfortunately what you see is what you get. I like to enter my food in recipe builder in all grams as well so I look around the archives until I find something that matches and has grams as an option. If I can't find what I am looking for I have to make my own entry and manually convert the weight to grams.

You sound like a very nice and supportive couple. Not everyone can say that their partner supports their weigh loss goals, there is usually one person that is stubborn. I hope you both are successful and come out even stronger than when you started.

not yet  been waking up for work late, too cold to get out of bed! Lol I will be trying it tomorrow when I'm off work.

I took me 3 months of running/walking 3-4 times a week to get to a mile so keep going!! I never ran a mile or even a half mile before I started. Try the phone app Couch25k, it will help you gradually build up your strength. You don't want to jump right in and start running longer distances than you are used to, that may…

Google Pepe's Mexican Restaurant nutritional information. Not exact but very close to the food at your restaurant.

Cream Cheese Pecan pie. Plain Pecan pie is too sweet for me. I tried butterscotch pie for the first time this year and it was pretty good.
-
My mom used to make this, we would mix in sour cream and eat it with tortilla chips the next day after it thickens.

Family will always be your biggest critic. Learned from experience not to mention my weight goals or anything about it when I'm at family functions.
