I takes me an hour to get to work, I get a half hour, sometimes an hour, lunch so.. unless I turn into Flash there's no way to eat lunch together during the week. Even if I lived closer it would be pointless to come home..just to eat? We do eat dinner together as much as we can during the week and eat lunch together during…

Yup, I love wearing new workout clothes. Not my main motivation but it feels good to have something new after wearing the same outfits day in and day out- breaks up the routine. I dress up no matter where I go so I would be very uncomfortable wearing just sweatpants and a loose t-shirt to the gym. I'm a girly-girl and love…

Tie your shoes like this video, I never had another blister and was able to run much further after I started tying them like this. The point is to have the shoe conform to the top of your foot so it doesnt slide around, also prevents your toes from smashing into the front of the shoe. At :50 seconds make sure you pull the…

When you start feeling like grazing, take a pen and paper, write down how you are feeling right at that second. Stress from work? Bored? Home alone? You'll start noticing patterns in your eating habits and why you are giving up midweek. That's how I stopped the late night munchies.

I keep my old jeans in my closet, too, mixed in with the jeans I can fit into right now. Makes me almost mad that I can't wear them so it motivates me every morning to eat right.

RedBull Sugar Free (light blue trim). Don't get the zero calorie one (yellow trim)!! It tastes like liquid chapstick. And of course coffee..

As long as you are consistent the other days of the year 2 days of indulging shouldn't be an issue. Now overeating on leftovers...that's another story. That's what usually does me in. Last year I took home enough for two small meals for work and left the rest. Went to a couple work parties and extended family parties, ate…

I would be mad about that, too. Not petty, it's distracting, you're in your zone and someone is messing with your breathing.
-
I like them! Especially during a full body stretch the next day, feels good.

Buy a light 100% wool jacket, zip up hoodie style, and wear that under your winter/autumn jackets. I work outside sometimes and it helps a lot. Places like Eddie Bauer should have them, worth the money!

Love this recipe! Good to know if I ever overcook squash :)

Are you joking, the PT said that he didn't show up because you didn't confirm your appointment?? Nooo. He should be calling you!!! Unless I was his very first client, I would fire him right away and get my money back for those missed sessions. It's not the client's responsibility to follow up, he is technically selling his…

I always blast music I haven't heard in forever or my favorite songs while I am running without caffeine. Sometimes I keep running just because I don't want to stop listening to the song...then another great song comes on!

Email the company and ask them, that's the only way you will know for sure. I do it all the time to double check foods that don't have labels like sandwiches from gas stations, side dishes from grocery store delis, etc.

@tincanonastring I don't think my boyfriend would like me messing with his green bean casserole but that sounds amazing! @FoodPwnr Thank you! :) I'll shift through that. I love my spices and want to learn more about them. @Derf_Smeggle I was just talking to my friend about squash today and how your taste buds change over…

Great suggestions already. Social events are for socializing! Food is just a bonus. :) Change how you think about it and the rest will eventually fall into place. My family's events are always revolving around food and this was something I had to practice, too. Eat small portions of things you don't normally have a chance…

Definitely Coca Cola Classic, man, I could go to town on a 12 pack back in the day. I since been a lot better and can have a can every couple days and let the pack sit in my fridge with no problems.

Ah, sibling rivalry :) If there was situation I would be most determined to win, it would be against my siblings! lol keep us updated and let us know who wins!!

Oh wow, thanks! Great suggestions :) Looked at all of them and gave me some great ideas

I've used them before- gained back the weight after I stopped. They are just over priced, over caffeinated pills. "Fat burners" only because they keep you from eating...which makes you lose fat, obviously! They don't really burn fat. Take it from someone who works in advertising, don't read the labels- They lie and make it…

I skip breakfast on the weekends so I can bank my calories for nighttime- I drink lots of coffee. I only get hungry for a solid breakfast if I'm at work moving around.
-
Yup, when people ask me how I am losing weight and still eating fast food I tell them..."The fast food doesn't make me fat. It's the half box of cereal in the morning, the Big Mac meal with Coke in the afternoon, the 3 granola bars, the huge order of Mexican food after I get off work, oh, and the ice cream for dessert that…

I get the "It's easy for you. It just falls off". Erm...no it's not and I work hard on it every day, thanks. Funny because this happens all the time to me!

Google the fresh food you are eating, ex: "apple nutrition", and google will comes up with the nutrition label on the right side of the screen. Make sure you type "nutrition" at the end of the item. If there isn't anything in MFP that matches what google gives you can make your own under My Foods, in your food diary- you…

Yup, deviled eggs! And a veggie tray with ranch for one of the appetizers.

It is realistic to me.

Yes, I don't mind logging everything. This is the only method that has worked to help me safely lose weight. My health is important enough.
-
Set up your MFP settings so it gives your calories allowed for your height, weight, and activity. Eat under those calories consistently (get a food scale and weigh everything) and boom! You will lose weight, it's really that simple. :) If you are not losing quickly enough lower your calories manually, about 100 per week,…
