I just wanted to give you my condolences for the 65 mile commute. I had a 40 mile one for years, but it took well over an hour with traffic and non-highway driving.

OMG, I got these people all the time when I did cardio. SO annoying, and yes, SO obvious when they're checking your screen. Loved to disappoint them by covering mine with a towel, lol.

lol, 420 is nothing. my binges are 1000+ :)

If you're strong enough to lose 29lbs, you're strong enough to get this loser out of your life.

When I do eat there, which is all the freaking time because it's delicious, I get a chicken nuggets kids meal. :)

yes, usually multiple times per day. to keep myself from going crazy, i use the following strategies: 1) frozen chocolate, forcing me to suck on it rather than gobble it all down 2) telling my fiance' to physically restrain me if i go back for more 3) eating it in prepackaged servings, whether i buy it like that or do it…

I'm 5'8. I started off with a month or two of 1200/day, but hit a plateau about halfway to my goal. plus i was going crazy because that just wasn't enough food for me. I increased to 1400/day and started eating my exercise calories and was able to go the rest of the way. I was doing about 45min cardio per day during this…

I am waiting for my bar results and feel stress eating about to hit. ;-)

Caveat: I joined MPF with a goal of toning up and exercising, not so much weight loss. GW: 122 [I have an extremely small frame] CW: 124 SW: 130 [not overweight, but definitely not in my prime] Height: 5'8" Age: 26 I'm almost done, but down to motivate/maintain!

I have never been a morning person, either. My whole life I've gotten up between 7 and 9am. But then my SO's schedule changed, and in order for us to work out together we needed to be out the door and on our way to the gym by 5:30am (so up at 5am or so). I've been doing it for a few weeks now. It is possible! My biggest…

Thursday QOTD: Ever since you started on your weight loss journey, what has been your biggest obstacle and how did you over come it Since my SO went back to school and has 8am classes, we've had to switch to 5:30am workouts. First, I am not a morning person. Second, I'm used to a lot of sleep. I've always gotten 8-10…

1. definitely switch to maintenance calories so you have extra wiggle room. don't try for a deficit on your honeymoon. 2. ENJOY IT! have that burger, but have it with a salad. Or split a burger and fries. Drink water instead of soda. Don't go overboard in either direction - just try making "healthy choices" while not…

I have cravings all the time, and I've been at this for four months now. I keep them in check by having just a little of what I'm craving. If I cut myself off completely, I'll end up on a binge. Chocolate is my craving, so I keep dark chocolate hershey kisses in the freezer. I don't really like dark chocolate (whereas I…

Similar here. I had stalled at 1200 calories, so I upped it to 1400. I also ditched 5x/week cardio for 5x/week weightligting with 2-3 cardio sessions per week. I felt super guilty upping my calories, but I am definitely glad I did.

Wednesday: Dang, thighs/legs are super popular! Same here.

Tuesday QOTD: What is your top NSV target? Size 25 jeans (i.e. being able to fit into all my old jeans!)

Add me! I gained 10lbs during my last year of school and joined MPF to lose that weight, keep track of what I was eating and eat healthier, and exercise more. I started in May and it's been a big success. I've lost about 5-7lbs, eat way healthier than I did before, and exercise 5-6 days a week. Best shape since I was about…

re: cake pops Cake pops are my favorite treat. They sell some at my Sam's Club with only 110 calories each! Nom!

Monday: Ah yes, I've experienced this a lot. I was at the mall w/ a bunch of people and they all got something from Haagan Daaz: "Oh come on, just this once." "Everyone's getting something!" "Live a little." Luckily, I am absolutely fine just saying "no" repeatedly. In fact, once you've said it like five times in two…

Aww, of course not! We all have our ups and downs, and enjoying life (and food) for special occasions is way more important than any challenge. This week I decided I was sick of restricting my calories and being hungry all the time, so I reset myself back up to 1400 calories and went over almost every day. I lost a pound.…

I've never heard of Californians being rude -- if anyone has that reputation, it's New Yorkers (city).
