  • Thanks, everybody! That's what I was hoping to hear, I'm just usually such a by-the-book rule-follower! But a lot of good that did me in Chicago last year, when high temps and my own anxiety gave me my worst race ever. This time, I'm just gonna be chill, enjoy the scenery, and trust myself. You guys rock!
  • Diet may be to blame. Were you dehydrated? Low on electrolytes like sodium, magnesium and potassium? That would be my guess. Otherwise, have you been neglecting stretching? Too much tightness overtime will get to ya. Kudos on the hard work, though!
  • After my half in a few weeks, I plan to reduce my weekly distance and focus on speed until late summer. Main 2012 goal: sub-4:00 marathon in December!
