YES! True story: I lost 118 pounds 5 years ago. I exercised 5 days a week and ate 1200-1300 cals a day. I lost so much weight so quickly that I was scared there was something wrong with me! It was all too easy (the first 80 anyway). My Dr & trainers kept telling me I was doing great! I was not healthy. Just smaller.…

Not a dude obviously but I will say that women with small heads and long necks look better with short hair and just off with long IMO.

Your net should return to your calorie goal after exercise- so you should eat more.

It's tempting to eat very low cal because you will initially drop a lot of weight fairly quickly/easily. PLEASE don't. You will likely stall & regain then have a horrible time getting your metabolism to cooperate. It happened to me! Eat back your calories (minus BMR for that time), eat high protein and lift weights (as…

I say do the machines. Different body group each time (2-3 sets 10 with full minute rest between sets) and cardio days of elliptical, bike or treadmill in between :) Something like: Sunday - legs Monday - treadmill Tuesday - arms, delts and abs Wednesday - elliptical Thursday - back and calves Friday - bike

I used to burn 1,000 cals an hr when I had a ****ty HRM. Now with my Polar I burn about 500-700 cals an hr doing a combo of cardio & weightlifting.

Just as a polite FYI- some people live in horrible pain and cannot exercise.

In a lot of cases, weight gain is a symptom of depression and not the other way around. If that's the underlying problem, it won't be fixed until that has been addressed successfully. What is at the core of her depression? You may need a therapist to help her find out.

I feel like they do. I always wonder why. Is it that I'm disgusting? Is something on my face, in my hair? Am I walking strange? Is it because I'm so fat? It goes around and around in my head. I hope it's just social anxiety.

It's a good idea to not think a piece of fruit = a serving of fruit. For me 1/2 an apple, 1/2 a banana, 1/3 cup of berries and so on or I go by weight.
-
Did you eat back your calories to keep your net at 1200 after exercise?
-
Yea- especially tough when you care about macros like fat/carbs/sodium. I just leave it.

Actually I have, my hair has been as long as your if not longer (and looks to be thicker) most of my life. Works for me *^shrugs**

They sell these super light bun donuts at Sally. Buy the smallest one. You put your hair in a tight high pony and pull through the donut then basically roll it down your pony tail creating a very secure bun made even more secure with a few bobby pins if you don't trust it. Just need to made sure to tighten it once done by…

Your smile lights up your face :)

I think, people at that that low of a weight wanting to lose are unhappy with their body composition, not necessarily weight. I would seriously look into eating at enough cals to maintain your weight but lifting heavy in addition to moderate cardio instead of restricting calories.

I don't know what your priorities are as far as requirements but mine were safety (particularly for snow as I'm in the northeast), fuel economy, reliability & comfort. We did a ton of research and Subaru won out. We opted for the complete package & every option, get 28-35 MPG & it's an AWD (Impreza). It's the Insurance…

We used low limit credit cards as part of a plan to build our scores up. I think we owe about $2,000 but choose to keep maintaining a certain percentage out to keep our scores growing (near Beacon level!). I don't consider it debt because we could pay it tomorrow if we chose to. I see it as more of a tool.
