I can't honestly fathom. We get most of our non grocery products free or darn close with couponing and between sales, stocking & couponing we save 40% on average off our weekly bill and STILL spend $130-$160ish a week. .

I'm so curious, exactly what do you buy? $15 would by me bananas, my milk, strawberries & feta cheese for example. Hardly enough for a week!

Between $130-$160 (with coupons) for 2 adults and a teenage boy. Food is expensive in my area (NY) and we buy organic, almond milk, speciality coffees & a lot of higher ticket items so it adds up.

I also work with kids. I feel like it is normal activity, not like it's much more than walking and playing. I definitely sit down too. Exactly, trying to retain muscle here and strengthen while I lose. I would love to build muscle as well but in case ya didn't know, that's nearly impossible for a woman eating at a calorie deficit. It takes an excess if cals to do that and an incredible amount of lifting!

I just researched the shiz outta this and set mine manually to 40/30/30. Did my diary for tomorrow and about 17 over on protein which is fine as I will be lifting so it's all good. I understand it's ok to float over fats as well if the overage is good fats from fish, nuts, olive oil....

Are you eating back those cals? If logging any activity keeps you motivated then have at it! The problem arrises when you eat those cals back. I think a good rule of thumb is to eat back purposeful exercise cals. (running, lifting, sports, walking, hiking....)
