You look great! Did you have any times when you didn't feel like working out or exercising? Was it hard in the beginning to make the habit of working out on a regular basis?

Wow, you look great! I also love the smiles in your pictures! Congratulations!

388 calories and very tasty: whole wheat bread, mayo, mustard and 3 slices of oven roasted turkey deli meat. Very good and fills me up!

Wow, great job and you look beautiful! :flowerforyou: You should be very proud of yourself!

So many great suggestions...I will eventually try them all, haha! For the sake of keeping the drink calories as low as possible I bought Svedka Vodka (69 calories per 1 oz.) and I'll add some Mio into plain water for the mixer. I got black cherry and blueberry - lemonade flavors. I think that over lots of ice will be good.…

Haha! This sounds good!

Wow, that's a great web site for info! Thanks!

Thanks for the great ideas everyone! Oh my goodness, might have to try that black berry margarita and just say to hell with the calorie counting! lol

I like the way you think! lol

Great suggestions, thank you! I hadn't thought about the club sodas with water flavoring. I think I'll try that!

Yep, lol, I'm in the same friggin boat! I'm 43, 5'5 and weigh 163 hoping to get down to 140 at least. Been dealing with this for about a year now. My periods have been very sporadic and have been getting the occasional night sweats and a little moody at times, haha. Thankfully my husband is a very patient and he's actually…

The shoe itself might be causing you to put more weight on the outside of your foot. Either because it's the wrong support for your feet, or they are really broken down and throwing your gait off. It's not normal for that part of your foot to hurt. Definitely go to a running store and have them recommend shoes for you.…

Is the 30 day shred good for a beginner as a stand alone exercise? Will I get good results if I ONLY do this workout? I'm planning on doing each level for 2 weeks with 2 days rest on the weekends. Should I incorporate some cardio in addition to this? Opinions and advice are greatly appreciated!

Way to go! You look GREAT!

I think I need a food scale based on what you wrote here too, lol...any recommendations for a good one? Thanks

Thank you! I'm embarrassed at how bad my math is, I've been really struggling to understand this and I've tried the calculators! So it sounds like I should be aiming for 1800 calories and adjust after a month or two. I'll give it a try, thanks!

Can I ask a question too? I'm also pretty new at this. Female, 43 years old, 5'5 and currently 162lbs, hoping to lose at least 20 lbs. I used the above calculator you recommended and it said 2088 for me (I'm also bad, I mean really bad with math, lol). I also burn about 400 calories in a day through exercising. I've been…

That must be uncomfortable to job with a rifle, but if that works for you I totally agree, lol. Some hikes I might carry my .308 scout rifle, nice and light and fast handling with the long eye relief scope. Or I might carry my AK47, depends on my mood, lol.

I open carry a 357 Magnum revolver with a 4" barrel when I'm hiking. I've ran with it before too and didn't find it too uncomfortable. I think it's all what you get used to carrying. I think a 357 magnum or 10 mm is the bare minimum for protection though. If you shoot a predatory animal with a .380 caliber, you might…

Ha! I love a good debate! True you can't always find the perfect shoe for every single customer, absolutely agreed. A lot of these stores rely on "word of mouth", so for whatever reason they didn't buy they're probably still going to refer friends or family at some point in the future. A business owner with employees who…

Having been an employee for many years in those specialty shoe stores I politely disagree. In my experience most of these shoppers will buy anyway even though they planned on getting a better deal on the internet or where ever. I found a lot of times the people that didn't buy shoes from me that day actually came back…

There are some good quality shoes out there that are also affordable. A cross training shoe might be good and a running shoe might be good too. Even though you don't run the benefits of a running shoe are, they're lighter, more breathable and more cushioned as they are meant to absorb a lot more shock. If you walk on a…
