I had been wanting to try these for awhile and finally found a single bar in stores. Glad I only bought one... very chalky taste. They have little whey crisp balls slightly stuck together with chocolate mint stuff, kind of like a rice krispie bar but much more delicate. Would not recommend.

Ignoring that the taste is different (matter of opinion if that's good or not), fresh fruit is obscenely expensive and often low quality here.

I'm back in Canada right now and just tried these. They are Liberte 5% greek yogurt cups in two flavours: mango white chocolate, and banana with caramel (120cal in a 100g cup). The fruit is like a jam in the bottom rather than chunks. The mango one doesn't taste like white chocolate at all, but the mango is quite good,…

Which Kodiak Cake mix did you use? I have the honey and oats one, do you think it would work?

If you don't want to make your own, Trader Joe's are great. They only have turkey, salt, and rosemary.

Agree. It's annoying having bone-in cuts of meat for this reason!

Sugar cookie is one of the worst flavours... I suggest trying the PB or cinnamon roll before deciding. IMO the chocolate cookie dough is gross too.

You are describing the "meal" feature! In your diary, click quick options -> save meal. Then when you want to log it again, select from the meals list. It adds all the ingredients to your dairy and you can edit the amounts.

If you ate that much every week, I would be concerned about mercury, just to start with. But for one week it doesn't matter.

Oh, I should say that I tried the new chips and thought they were awful. I never tried the original ones, so I can't say if it's an improvement or not, but I definitely will not purchase again. The flavour on them was good, but the actual chips taste gross, and I didn't care for the texture. I don't really know how to…

Red velvet should have a certain tartness to it as well, but some "red velvet" recipes literally are just chocolate cake with a disturbing amount of red food dye added.

Actually, whey isolates are suitable for lactose intolerant people.

How do you know this is a "refurbished piece of junk"? What you are describing sounds like an unused model: it would likely loosen up with use.

Impulsive buy has spotted lemon and chocolate (two separate flavours) of Oreo thins on shelves.

I agree with others: you haven't conclusively determined it's a protein problem and not a protein supplement problem. There are many ingredients in protein powders or bars that could be disagreeing with you, including the whey itself (though I am lactose intolerant and Quest bars are fine for me), or sugar alcohols, or in…

Here's three granola recipes I've made recently:* peanut butter, to which I added freeze dried bananas after * coconut cashew * chocolate almond, though I left out the flax seeds and added freeze dried raspberries after All are super easy, much cheaper than buying granola, and you can adjust the sweetness to your taste. If…

If you're using a raw bacon entry, you should switch to logging it cooked. The raw entries include all the fat that cooks out - so assuming you aren't eating all of that, the calories are much lower. I still think bacon is pretty high calorie for how filling it is, but I can definitely fit a couple of slices in now and…

I've never made whole groats, but I eat a lot of steel cut oats. I know that if I cook them for 15-20 minutes, they come out chewy, but after 25-30 they are much mushier. The water amount doesn't seem to matter so much for the texture, it just affects how thick or thin the result is. If groats are anything like this, I…

12oz is $5 at my Trader Joe's.

Yikes, that's expensive! So Delicious has a store locator on their site and you can search for a specific product. You may be able to find it cheaper at another store. The most expensive I've seen it was $6.50 at Whole Foods, but I can get it for $5 at Kroger (or maybe it's $5.50? Can't recall.)

I love to cook, but am currently trying to figure out what food is disagreeing with me and so am eating pretty simple meals for now. I'm frequently making rice with various things added. For example, I just made rice with sausage, peas, carrots, onion and garlic. I got precooked sausage, so I just sliced it into rounds and…

So Delicious cashew milk is the best non-dairy ice cream I've had. Skip their almond milk line. My favourite is, by far, the chocolate cookies and cream. The chocolate truffle is also very good, nice and chocolatey. I wasn't a big fan of the salted caramel cluster. Those are the only flavours I've tried, since I can only…

Sounds like textured vegetable protein to me.

I got them from Target last Halloween. I liked them! The caramel didn't add much, but I like the green apple flavour with the vanilla cookie.

I batch cook steel cut oats. I just do it in water: 1 cup of oats with 4 cups of water in the evening. Then in the mornings, I scoop a serving out, put whatever mix-ins/add ons, and heat it up in the microwave. Other than thickening up in the fridge, it tastes the same. You might want a splash of milk to loosen it.

I agree that the original cups are awful. But I also agree with the review of the vanilla keto cups. Totally not worth the calories...

You could try steel cut oats - IMO they have a much better texture than rolled oats. Slightly chewy rather than eating mush.

I dipped a sliced apple in this and it definitely tastes different from plain PB2. It's not exactly *caramel* but kind of a butterscotch hint to it. It also tastes a bit more roasted than PB2 to me. It's a nice change, but it's not super special. I haven't tried the plain one to compare to PB2 yet, but it is a better…

Have to disagree - maybe I got a bad batch or something, but my S'mores has a strange "off" aftertaste. The cocoa glazed cinnamon roll tastes quite similar except doesn't have that aftertaste... still not a big fan. It doesn't really have much flavour, tbh. To be more specific: neither tastes like peanut butter, or much…
