Depends where you live. A metric cup is 250ml, a US cup is approx. 236ml.

I made these again, this time using Vitafiber syrup (a high fiber sugar free syrup - often used in making homemade protein bars. Vitafiber is one brand, but there are cheaper options) in place of corn syrup. They taste pretty much the same, maybe slightly less sweet, but I don't mind. They're nowhere near as cheap to make…

I'll not be ordering any more for awhile - gotta eat these ones first! But I'll probably stick with the almond ones from now on anyway. I tried the Daiya non dairy Greek yogurt in peach flavour. It's alright. It's kind of satisfying in that way bland food can be. It really just doesn't have much flavour. I definitely won't…

Disappointing. Doesn't taste like a cinnamon roll at all. Of the three flavours I've tried, I'm only in love with the vanilla maple. The S'mores and this one are just alright (IMO they don't really taste that different). I wonder if the almond butter ones are just better?

Not new, but new to me: the D's Naturals No Cow bar in blueberry cobbler is a much yummier blueberry protein bar than the new Quest one (only available through Quest labs right now).

Just tried this. It's yummy, sort of a milk chocolate flavour. However, it's nutritionally not much different from just having a serving of ice cream (or non-dairy "ice cream") and it's not tastier than that, so I probably wouldn't buy it again. It is way tastier than any premade chocolate greek yogurt I've tried though.

I bought some off of Amazon. You can get two flavours (6.5oz each) for $11.50ish, or two big containers (16oz each) for I think $22. I got the small ones just to try, but if I like it, the large containers are much cheaper than buying the 6.5oz PB2 containers at the stores here!

I'd go for a BBQ sandwich, either pork or chicken. If you like, you can get the sauce on the side too. These sandwiches are usually not that many calories (I'd guess 500-700 for a restaurant one with a basic bun, but can be more if a brioche bun or something). Get a side of low cal veggies and you'll be fine.

I bought the vanilla maple, S'mores, and the new Cocoa Glazed Cinnamon bun fluffbutters. The cinnamon bun one hasn't arrived yet (it was a pre-order) but I love the vanilla maple! I think the S'mores is just okay, it has a slightly strange aftertaste. I'm actually surprised how much I like the vanilla maple one, since I…

Intriguing! I went to Whole (Paycheque) Foods today, and saw many things that are at least new to me. I only go to WF when I'm after a specific item that I can't get at Kroger or TJs, because I can't justifying paying their prices for something I can get across the street for way less. Anyway, here's some of the things I…

Thanks for posting this, my unopened bag of peas were recalled!

I've only tried Sunwarrior vanilla, and I don't recommend it.

Pepperoni sticks (chicken or turkey if you want low cal) or jerky of some kind perhaps?

Yes, I'm just starting with these. I have no reason to believe tomatoes are the problem, for example (indeed I have not had any problems eating them twice a day for the last several days). I actually believe soy is my main problem. I have begun to feel much better already. Also, as others have asked, yes I got gluten free…

I decided to try this for two reasons: I can't eat wheat right now and it is high in protein (14g in 56g dry, which is 200cal). It's not very good though. It warns not to overcook it, which I didn't - it was definitely still al dente. But it was also disintegrating into bean mush on the edges, and it left a kind of bean…

Purely for calories, I would stick with dairy for sure - a tablespoon of half and half is not many calories and more than enough for a cup of coffee IMO. However, for those who can't have dairy, many brands sell coconut, almond, or soy based creamers that would be much creamier than one made with just rice milk.

A croissant can easily be 300+ calories, so your count seems off unless you are eating a really tiny croissant.

My Kroger had about 5 flavours, including the sweet ones. But I'm not eating dairy right now, so I didn't try them.

I like mixing Quest with oatmeal. Can't say about coffee - not something I'm interested in trying...

This is exactly my experience. Shame made me desperately try to lose weight a few times, but never in a sustainable way.

I made a version of this taco chicken recipe today. I did: 1lb of chicken breast, 1 can of black beans, 133g of frozen corn (not sure what that is in volume), 2 tsp of Trader Joe's taco seasoning, 1 tbsp cumin, some garlic and onion powder and oregano (didn't measure, sorry), 1/4 tsp salt, a 16oz jar of picante salsa. I…

I was just back at my Kroger today and they had pretty much every flavour in stock! However, I just started an elimination diet to figure out what's causing my digestive issues and so there's no dairy (or wheat, or soy, or eggs...) for me for awhile... very sad. On that note, I tried this: I like it! It's slightly "flat"…

Their store locator doesn't list it as being sold at the Kroger where I bought it, so I doubt the accuracy.

Whoa. I'd never seen this brand before, but they had exactly one container of this left when I was at Kroger last and I decided to try it. By far the best coconut greek yogurt I've had! This one is unusual in that it has a kind of coconut syrup on the bottom, rather than most that just have some coconut blended in. It also…

I got off the Quest labs waiting list in one day for what it's worth. I don't find most Chobani flips to be worth the calories. The only one I really liked was the limited time peppermint flavour.

Apparently available only at Target (judging by the Kodiak Cakes webpage). That's annoying, since there's no Target near me. I'd be curious for reviews if any of you try them!

I haven't read the other posts in this thread. But I want to say that I was obese most of my life, certainly overweight since childhood. I'm 5' 4" and I believe my top weight was around 210-220lbs. When I started MFP, I was at 212lbs. I tried to lose weight several times in my teens, though never very successfully. I was…

I agree with other posters - the cashew milk So Delicious are the best from that brand. I liked the chocolate truffle one. I haven't tried too many non dairy ice creams as they usually are just disappointing (and I'm only lactose intolerant, so I eat normal ice cream with lactase supplements or Lactaid brand ice cream…

OK, I didn't plan on it, but I just tried the Quest chocolate protein crunch bar. It's not very chocolatey at all. Definitely the least impressive of the four I've tried. I thought I got all of them, but now I'm seeing a strawberry flavour. Not sure if I overlooked it or it's a new addition. The cinnamon was by far my…
