  • guacamole... it's healthy and it tastes good. I use it everywhere in place of mayo. make sure you use a real guacamole, not guacamole dip or spread which usually contains loads of crap.

  • Ezekiel makes sprouted bread. This is the bread that is most healthy for you. I don't particularly like its taste though. I found that Trader's Joe brand sprouted bread tastes much better with as high nutritional value. Sprouted breads are even healthier than whole grain breads, but they are not sold in every grocery…
  • Fats in chocolate are a good for you. Just make sure you eat dark chocolate, not milk chocolate. You want to consume good fats only.   • try quinoa and buckwheat grains as an excellent source of complex carbs. Both have much much better nutritional value than rice. Whole wheat pasta products are better than white or brown rice for that matter.
  • stay away from the tempura deep fried stuff and you should be okay.
  • Do weight and resistance training instead of cardio. Find exercises that won't put much pressure on your ankles. Many of the upper body and core exercises won't affect your ankles.
  • extra virgin olive oil.... or lite sour cream. but my salads are different. I never use lettuce... just don't like it.. instead i chop more tomatoes and english cucumbers.. some radishes, green onions, bell peppers and perhaps baby spinach.

  • 1900cals and 50/35/15 is my ratio. However, i only try to make sure i get proteins for the day. Carbs and Fats can vary from day to day, but for as long as i stay below 1900cals I feel good about myself.
