  • Last year I lost 25 pounds and no one noticed. I was so discouraged that I stopped trying. I maintained my weight until recently and decided to start again. Now I lost 14 pounds and everyone that sees me comments on it. I am not sure what changed so much this time. Don't let it discourage you . They will notice eventually…
  • Seemed to good to be true to me too...lol. I checked this recipe on a receipe calculator and it says approx 379 calories per serving if the recipe is for two servings. http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-calculator.asp

  • Having you been eating at least some of your exercise calories? I wasn't and I actually gained 3 pounds as well. That didn't make sense to me at all. I started to eat at least half of my exercise calories and now I have lost 2 pounds this week. I was starving my body. Now I am eating more and losing weight.
  • Welcome Shelsy ! This is a great place for encouragement and support ! I am sure that you will love it here as much as I do. Best of luck with your goals ! You can do it !!! :flowerforyou:
  • I didn't eat my exercise calories and stopped losing weight. When I calculated the amount of calories I was consuming and deducted my exercise calories, I was only eating 700 calories a day. My body was in starvation mode. Everyone is different but I need to eat mine or all my hard work accomplishes no weight loss.

  • I use the 30 Day Shred. I have to say that I am sweating like crazy at the end of the workouts. Its great for everyone because it has 3 levels of exercises as well as variations for beginners and more advanced. I have been doing it for three weeks now and am doing level 3 with the beginner exercises. Its challenging and so…
  • I actually use her DVDs on days that I don't walk outside. I find them great. I do the 2 mile walk and have noticed both weight loss and toning. I do it daily , sometimes twice if I have the time. I also use hand weights for half of the walk to work more muscles. Hope this helps ! )
  • I completely understand how you feel. I have lost 40 pounds in the last year and have another 45 to go. Everyone keeps telling me how great I look but when I look in the mirror I still see that fat girl staring at me !!!!! Soooooo frustrating ! We can do it ! We have done it before and can do it again !!!!! :flowerforyou:
  • Congratulations ! You are doing great ! :flowerforyou:
  • Thanks everyone. I think I already suspected that my caloric intake was too low. It just doesn't seem to make sense that I should add 500 calories to lose weight. I am certainly going to do my best in increase what I am eating...good calories, of course. I am off to read the posts by Banks. Thanks everyone for your posts.…
