  • Ouch. Got me there! Maybe he did forget his bag. Maybe he didn't. Either way, I personally don't understand why someone would want to work out in clothing that isn't the easiest to move in, doesn't breathe, etc. I'd quickly run home and get the clothing I needed if I forgot. And no, going home isn't convenient for…
  • Also, bras tend to "roll" when they're sized incorrectly (usually too small). If you like the fit of the one you picked out (for the most part), I'd consider trying another size in it. I did bra fittings for a long, long time and the general problem with rolling was due to sizing issues. As far as brand goes, I'm a…
  • Even on a plan like Weight Watchers, you should be weighing food to make sure you're taking the correct serving. I did Weight Watchers for a solid 2 years. Lost about 70 pounds on it. I stopped going, I was basically at goal. Guess what happened? I gained back 60 pounds. Staying on the Weight Watchers program wasn't…
  • PB2 is on Groupon right now, BTW. Pretty good deal.
  • I used to have a pretty intense love/hate relationship with my scale. I weighed daily. Didn't do much for me, but I did it. I now weigh once a week. Tuesday mornings when I get up. I even have a post-it I stick on my scale that says "Tuesday Only" that is on the top as a reminder. It's a hard habit to break, but sooooo…
  • Some people are just clueless. But I do give him props for at least showing up at the gym!
  • I already ate mine... but... Light English Muffin w/ PB2 and strawberry jam Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Banana Cream Whey Nom nom!! Happy Monday, All!
  • Sounds extremely boring (that would get to me first) and so low in cals that you'll be miserable. You can eat more, incorporate your Jillian stuff, and still lose. Next time, buy a dress that fits
  • I'm all for Snickers bars and funnel cakes. Sweets are my weakness! Haha :)
  • If it goes in my mouth and it's not a liquid, it hits the scale first. Liquids I use measuring cups for. The only thing I'm pretty lenient on is my lettuce/leafy greens. They're so low I figure if I'm off a little, it won't kill me. But everything else goes on the scale.
  • I love my veggies, but I get BORED of them quickly. How I solve for it? I cook them/use them in a variety of ways: *Fresh (with dip or plain) *Steamed *Roasted (my favorite) *Stir fried *Hidden (blended into a smoothie, cauliflower pureed like mashed potatoes, spaghetti squash instead of pasta, etc) *Soup *Grilled (veggie…
  • I was a fan of the Lemon when baked in the oven for 4-5 minutes at 380!
  • Checked out your entries for today. Your fat sources seem to be pretty solid ones - PB and Eggs. Don't fret! You'll be fine! Fats are good for you if you're getting the right kinds from the right sources. It's not like you're downing Snickers bars and funnel cakes (which sounds yummy...)
  • My boyfriend is a pizza fanatic. Seriously. He could eat it every day of the week and still love the stuff. When he wants his pizza, he gets it. Me? I opt for a flatbread pizza, dolled up and tossed in the oven! I feel like I can "join him" in a pizza meal, but I'm not tossing the day out the window, either. I'd either…
  • I just had some PB2 with breakfast! I've grown to really like it (I've used it for a couple years). But, if you're craving regular PB... have some PB! Just track it and fit it in

  • I had a trainer for a while. I dumped him. My advice? Don't be afraid to say "no thank you". If the pricing seems steep, it probably is. Don't get roped in with a trainer that trains you during cardio - waste of time and money. My trainer would have me come in early to do a warm up on my own, and then our session would…
  • I much prefer the Almond Breeze to the Silk. That being said, I'll buy whatever is on sale.
  • I haven't tried the Lean Shakes. The last time I was in the guy really tried hard to sell me on them. I passed and opted for my regular Gold Standard protein (I prefer to just load up a shaker and go). I've had the EAS shakes. For an on the go, they're pretty tasty. You can usually find them at Costco or Sam's Club so that…
  • Most of the time, moderation. If I really freaking want some Cadbury Mini Eggs, you better believe I'm going to eat some. But instead of eating half the bag, I'll have two mini eggs and be done with it. And this may or may not be a regular fight this time of year
  • Psssst. Add some sour cream onto that chili cheese burrito. OMG! LOL!
  • I wear my Fitbit Flex throughout the day and when I hit the gym I strap on a Polar HRM to track that activity. Definitely my preferred method and what works for me
  • I love the elliptical. I have one at home... I don't use it (I just can't stand working out at home). I do, however, regularly use the ones at the gym. Generally for a warm up before getting into weights or doing something else. I do think it helps if you have an elliptical where you can increase the resistance a decent…
  • Ahhh Taco Bell. Brings me back to the partying days when the cab driver would drive us through TB at 2:30am... :drinker: But now that I'm older, and a wee bit wiser, I tend to avoid it. However, on the rare occasion... Fresco Chicken Soft Taco with a side of Black Beans (not the beans & rice... just the beans).
  • I just switched to C4 from an ON pre. Loving the C4 (watermelon, yea!!). With things like supps, I say to each their own. Use it... don't use it... it's all good with me. Personally, I choose to use it. I appreciate the extra boost with an early AM workout or a workout after a long day in the office. For me, it works.
  • With things like that, I usually just try my best. If I'm looking at two different wraps, I check out the nutrition and usually pick the higher one. Can be a little tricky, and might not be the "best way" of doing things, but sometimes there really isn't a way around it
  • Ahhhh! I have such a love/hate relationship with carrot cake! I totally hear you here! How could something with CARROT in the name be so terrible? Haha
  • POPTARTS! Ok, so my boyfriend is obsessed with these things. He constantly has like 5 varieties on rotation at home. He also can eat a box, hop on a scale the next day, and be right where he was the morning before (jerk, haha). But a pack of Poptarts... while they may be tasty and "bring me back" to middle school, they're…
  • Start reacting to their food choices, they'll stop reacting to yours. I'm kidding. Kind of. But for how many times I've gone to a restaurant, ordered a salad and gotten hassled for it... I'd love to say something like, "You keep slathering that mayo on your burger bun. See where it gets you." Lol! People always have an…
  • I'll sometimes keep on hand a pouch of Tuna... either plain or the premixed tuna salad (for 100cals you can't go wrong).... with half of a pita pocket. It's filling, tasty, and doesn't need to be refrigerated!
  • Happens to all of us from time to time! Life happens. Just get back in the game and it will fall off again  Happy Monday!!
