Bake in the oven at 400 Degrees for about 4 minutes or until a little puffed and golden. DELISH! I've actually never eaten a bar directly out of the wrapper. Either gets baked or microwaved for 15 seconds.

All I can say is: Be sure you can wiggle your toes when you're down (weight hard onto your heels) and don't add weight until you have your form down. Adding weight to an incorrect form isn't going to do any good. If your mission is to get to the point where you can get deep into squats, make that your first goal, then add…

I meal prep pretty consistently, but I don't do anything crazy. I grab my containers and my food scale, line it all up on the counter and get to work! Breakfasts: Hashbrowns, eggs (eggs + additional whites), onions, peppers, mushroom, turkey sausage or bacon (all just layered in containers) Lunch: Chicken (baked or…

There really isn't a place to just buy them cheap, unfortunately. You need to price around, keep an eye out for sales or GNC coupons. I usually end up ordering mine through GNC or Vitamin Shoppe when they have sales going on. Sometimes Quest has special offers going on with free bars, mixed box discounts, etc.

My rule of thumb is to enjoy a cheat meal, not a cheat day or a cheat weekend. My cheat meals are usually a trip out to a restaurant, or enjoying a slice or two of pizza with my salad... but not a trip to a buffet complete with cheesecake for dessert. For some people, that might work. I know for myself that it doesn't and…

Drink up! Add it in pancakes, other baking, etc. You'll be fine :)

Oh, and for another snack.. I've really started liking cottage cheese (I used to hate the stuff). If I want it a little sweeter, a few drops of honey goes a long way! I also keep Quest Bars on hand, greek yogurt (add a little PB2 into vanilla greek with a few chocolate chips and it tastes very similar to cookie dough),…

Don't fear the fat in nuts and nut butters. Unless you're going crazy with it, you're fine. There's "better" fat in a T of PB than in a cookie, Snickers bar, etc. Enjoy your PB! I also keep PB2 on hand in case I want the PB flavor without all of the fat/calories. But the original stuff is best :)

If it's a solid and it goes in my mouth, it goes on the scale.

Preplan your meals AND snacks, drink plenty of water, grab a pack of gum and keep your cash at home (to avoid a sudden vending machine disaster)

Life is too short to eat rice cakes. Seriously. Eat real food. My "crust" of choice? Flat Outs. Made one last night actually - Yum! :)

Do you struggle to physically eat the food or do you struggle to mentally eat the food? I ask because, I struggle to mentally eat the food. I do it (eat the food) because I know I have to. I workout a lot so I know my body needs it. But I know what it feels like to open the fridge and think, "I can't/shouldn't/won't eat…

Protein can be a wonderful thing. Finding the brand/flavor that YOU like can be difficult. I went through a bunch of brands before landing on the one I prefer (ON Gold Standard). I sometimes use protein as part of my breakfast, alongside some fruit, english muffin, etc. More often, I use it after a good workout for…

Meal prep! I prepare all of my breakfasts and lunches on Sunday/Monday so I'm ready to go for the week. I even do a couple extras to have on hand just in case I'm at the gym late and want something fast for dinner - then I'm not tempted to do a drive thru or eat crap :)

I'm a big fan of Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard proteins. I currently have the Cake Batter and Banana Creme flavors. Their chocolate varieties aren't half bad, either (I'm not a vanilla fan so I never buy vanilla). They're relatively low in calories, sugars and carbs. Some protein powders are meant for bulking, so watch…

Gym membership. All day. I've been a member at a gym for almost 4 years and I go regularly. I have a higher end elliptical that I now use to hang dry clothes on. Having only one workout to do at home isn't very beneficial and it gets boring - FAST! Actually having to go into a gym is motivating and having other people…
