  • I always use my HRM. Always.
  • My best suggestion (as I'm a HUGE lover of all things sweets myself) is to try to work them in, as needed. For a while I was packing a Hershey Kiss with my lunches to bring to work so I could have a little chocolate fix in the afternoon. Don't totally deprive yourself - that's how those binges happen. And I know, they're…
  • Totally forgot about these! They make me think about my grandma - she always had some on hand for treats.
  • I also noticed with your logging some of the options you're choosing aren't correct. I believe it was yesterday (or two days ago) you posted a listing for a 3oz chicken breast at 225 calories. 3 oz of boneless, skinless chicken breast is in the 130 calorie range, so actually you could be under eating even more than the…
  • Agreed. My 3 year old nephew LOVES them. I figure, if he likes them, I probably should to. But no. He can have my share.
  • There's a lot of food I HATED when I was younger and now LOVE: Salad Coffee Cole Slaw (seriously, how was I missing out on this stuff during the time I ate complete crap?) Cabbage Squash It's always kind of nice when you realize you actually DO like something. Totally switches things up for you!
  • These things. Oh man. Now you have me thinking coconut, marshmallow, chocolate cake... damn.
  • Truth. Lol! I had one maybe a year ago or so... I was so excited as I hadn't had one in years. I ate half and decided it really wasn't all that great. Sad day.
  • I figure, it's not a fashion show. Kohl's, Macy's, Target. Wherever I can find something I'm comfortable in. A typical outfit at the gym for me (T, bottoms, sports bra) probably runs me around $50-60 for the outfit, on the expensive side.
  • Whaaaaaat, Spaghetti Squash is $1.29/lb here. That would drive me insane!
  • I melt mine pretty regularly into spaghetti squash...
  • I've bought these flavors in the past. I'd never eat them right out of the package, but baked in the oven they're actually pretty decent!
  • Mmmm. Macarons are one of my favorites!! I'd have to say... pizza. Now, I'm pretty used to making my pizzas on Flatouts at home for a reasonable "treat", but sometimes I want an actual pizzaria pizza. So, I have one slide with a salad and I'm good to go!
  • Don't rely on an unreliable source for medical issues. Contact your doctor.
  • Definitely! I also use mine when I package and ship stuff for Ebay (I'm a seller). Haha, so versatile!
  • My mom and I both own one of these: http://www.amazon.com/OXO-Grips-Stainless-Pull-Out-Display/dp/B000WJMTNA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1399643067&sr=8-1&keywords=OXO+Food+Scale She has had her's about 3 years, I've had mine about a year. No problems with either one - super easy to use, the pull out display is a MUST…
  • Most of my protein is ON. The ON Cake Batter is WAY BETTER than the Cor-Fetti, so that's the only one I'd really avoid. It's fun and has little colored sprinkles in it, but the flavor is just off (IMO)
  • If you're hungry, by all means - eat!! I try to spread out my intake throughout the day, but I don't think it really matters in the long run
  • Totally depends on the day for me, but here's how I'm usually set up (approx.): Breakfast: 300 Lunch: 300 Dinner: 350 Snacks/Protein/Overages: 250 Total: 1200 If It's a day where I have a big workout/hit the gym, I'll eat more. It just totally depends on the day and how I'm feeling. Sometimes I have a late breakfast and…
  • I use a pre every time I hit the gym. Why? Gives me a little boost, kind of gets me "in the mood" to work out (though I'm sure it's a mental thing), tastes freaking delicious. Why not? If you try a pre, ones that contain beta alanine can make your skin tingle (head, arms, etc - depends on the person). I've never…
  • Same happened with my Gold's, but I just stayed a member at the "new" gym. I like it. Convenience is a huge thing though.
  • Yea, she was actually asked to leave the gym because people were feeling "uncomfortable". She showed the clothing she was wearing - pants and a tank. I'm sorry, but there shouldn't be anything intimidating about that, no matter who you are.
  • I pay $10/month. I don't go to PF. I can deadlift my little heart out (sorry, had to say it!) If $10/month is why you're with PF - awesome, that is a good deal. But there are other options out there as well. Its up to each person to make their own choice on which gym to go to. Regardless, I give all people props with the…
  • I do chicken regularly (I love to grill huge batches and freeze in smaller portions for myself). I have a Food Saver that I use to do this and the meat stays pretty moist and sealing it does extend the freezer life. I dig it.
  • Mint Chocolate Chip!!! Yum!
  • There isn't just a "fitbit", but whatever one you choose will depend on your goals and what you want to get out of it. I'd check this out: http://www.fitbit.com/comparison/trackers For me, I went with the Flex. I wanted something I could just strap on my wrist, would sync easily with my phone, etc. I view it as more of a…
  • I've been in a very similar boat, so I feel ya! My best piece of advice, that I've really taken to heart this time around... ENJOY your journey. Don't limit yourself or say "NO" right away to "bad" foods. I found that in the past I was so quick to pass on everything I viewed as being "bad", and that wasn't me being very…
  • My mom and I both use this one: http://www.amazon.com/OXO-Grips-Stainless-Pull-Out-Display/dp/B000WJMTNA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1399469569&sr=8-1&keywords=OXO+Food+Scale It's easy to use, and I LOVE that you can pull out the reader in case you have a plate or something set on top. She has owned her's for about 3 years, and…
  • True statements.
  • I love love love my ON Gold Standard. I'm a powder+water = on the go delight, kind of girl, but it also mixes well with fruit, etc if you want to go that route. I usually mix up a little protein to go with my breakfast and then I have another after the gym in the evening (1 scoop each time). While proteins can be a little…
