I am breastfeeding my almost 3 month old, and my diary is open to my friends. The weight is not melting off like I had hoped (being pretty stubborn actually!), but I am sticking to at least 1500-1800 calories a day and more if I am more active to not hurt my supply. Other moms are free to add! :)

Wow- you look amazing! :D I SO needed to see this today. I'm also a mom to 5 (12, 10, 7, 5, and 2 months) and am feeling so frustrated with this extra weight. You have seriously motivated me to keep trying. Friend request on the way! :)

I also had a small bleed from the placenta found during my early ultrasound (10-11 weeks). The doctor wasn't concerned because it was so small, but I took it easy just in case. I was instructed to call if I had bleeding or cramping (I didn't). They checked on it at my 17 week anatomy scan, and it had resolved. Our…

35 years old, 5'5", and my goal is to get back to 135-140 after baby #5. :flowerforyou:

LOVE it! Read all the books, sneak peek chapters, and watch the show. Absolutely fabulous and looking forwards to Season 3!

We have been like this twice. Once for my oldest son, and now for this baby. It is so frustrating! I feel like I do all the research and list building, and DH just dumps on it. I finally told him to come up with a list and I'd look at it. With our older son, we didn't have a name until the day or two before he was…

Interesting. My doctor just told me he wants an ultrasound to check on baby's size at 38 weeks because she is big already. I didn't know what it meant or will mean if she is a big baby. I've gained 32lbs at 34ish weeks, which I am fine with. No health problems or complications, so I don't get it. Here is how mine have…

I had my 34ish week appointment yesterday, and the doctor said she was measuring big. He also said that he'll schedule an ultrasound at 38 weeks to check on her size. I'm not sure what will happen if baby is big? I've never had more than one ultrasound per pregnancy, and this one will be three!

They are the type to take advantage of anything they don't have to open a wallet for. No one stopped them or told them it was reserved for the new parents only (it was set up in a kitchenette area), so they just chowed down. :noway: I LOVE the secret code though! How useful that would have been back then!

This is me all the way! I hate dreading doctor visits because of what he'll say to me about the weight gain, but I am doing everything right. It's just how some women work. Not everyone is going to follow textbook standards, and it's so frustrating to me that there is such a stigma to weight gain during pregnancy. I've had…

We are expecting our 5th, and definitely learned after the first one with what we were comfortable with. With our first, EVERYONE was at the hospital- my grandparents, DH's grandmother and parents, my aunt and uncle, my mother, and DH of course. Everyone poked in to say hello and give well wishes, but I ended that after my…

Maybe 4 times a year together, if we are lucky. We have 4 kids and 1 on the way, ages 4-12. We do go out on our own for errands and appointments, and we go places with the family several times a week. I would like that to be more like a night out every 1-2 months, but we don't have a lot of options when it comes to sitters…

Yep- I'm an easy keeper I guess. I've already gained 28lbs and received a lecture from my doctor! My guess is that my workouts are MUCH less intense than pre-pregnancy, but what can you do.

32 weeks here and I eat between 1800-2000 everyday. I burn 2100-2300 a day according to my BodyMedia Fit. I rarely more, and occasionally eat less, but that is my goal. I was eating 1400-1600 a day before pregnancy and maintaining at 5'5" and 135ish.

Definitely talk to social services. Pregnant women often have higher income thresholds and the baby could count as another family member in determining coverage. :flowerforyou:

30-31 weeks and up 26lbs. Hoping to keep it around 35lbs, but we'll see. :)

Congrats! Great results! :)

Pampers or Luvs. Luvs aren't as quality, but I have never had a problem with them leaking, and they are very cost effective. I did like the Huggies Natural brand, but with other versions I have problems with the tabs keep ripping off.
