  • I agree. I've gotten myself to the lowest end of a "healthy" weight for me and I looked sick. Not the look I'm going for.
  • This is my problem area as well. I can't lose anymore weight at 5'3" 115lbs either. Hope the lifting thing works for both of us. I want the flat belly back I had as a teen, ha!
  • I do know that. However, I'm 5'3" at 115lbs. To lose the fat would put me underweight. I've been as low as 107lbs before, but still the belly. My ribs were sticking out and I looked gross, people were getting concerned as it did not look healthy on me. I'm not willing to go below the weight that I am now because I clearly…
  • Nia Shanks has a bodyweight only program and the book Strong Curves has a 12 week bodyweight program.
  • Hahaha! We've had individual/family health care for years now as we don't have group/work coverage so we are used to the high deductibles. However, now we get even HIGHER deductibles and get to pay a higher premium too. I think you should seriously consider having a baby, since it's covered and all. ;-)
  • Thank you for the advice. I am seeing a Chiro for my back and its fine now unless I try to lift weights again. Tight upper back muscles seem to be what is causing it. As for the other injuries, I've been putting off going to the Ortho because of cost. We have a very high deductible health plan so going there for just one…
  • Yes, I do have to lift the kids, especially baby all day. I haven't even ventured into brisk walking yet. I figure if I'm taking the time off, I'm gonna give resting all I've got, ha! Thanks for the shoes tip. I did just this week go out and spend the most I have ever spent on a good pair of shoes in my life. The salesman…
  • I was doing NROLFW and I've done it before with no problems. Maybe I just started too soon after baby, I am not sure. I started with just bodyweight at 6 weeks PP. I first pulled a hamstring in January doing lunges (2 months PP and with just 6 lb weights) that is still bothering me today, probably because I never initially…
  • Fiber Gourmet pasta and thinnables. The pasta is lower cal, 120 cal per 2 oz serving, packed with fiber and it tastes like regular pasta to me. The thinnables crackers are awesome too. My favorite are garlic herb and pizza. They're also lower cal and packed with fiber. The only downside is its only available online in my…
  • I second checking the high fiber cereal. For me, anything with chicory root in it will do that to me.
  • Check out Mutu System. I do this program for my diastasis and its helped me a lot. It gives you exercises to help close the gap and strengthen the connective tissue as well as intensive exercises further on in the program. They even have a Facebook support group you can join when you sign up. I did this program through my…
  • Arctic Zero ice cream and Combat Crunch Protein Bars, I am a total sweets person. Quest Cravings Peanut Butter cups are awesome too. I make my own version of a DQ Blizzard by blending some vanilla maple arctic zero with unsweetened almond milk, then adding crushed Quest Cravings to it. It's amazing. The choc cookie Combat…
