  • Thanks, Skoster1. That's very helpful :) I think I will stick with 75g and see how it goes.
  • The website that tru2one gave me for calculating said that there could be a 5% fluctuation any direction on any of the macros. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/lbm_calculator.htm said that my lean body mass is around 99lbs, but http://www.healthstatus.com/perl/calculator.cgi said that it is 94. So I'm guessing it's…
  • It's not so much that I feel like I need more protein, as it is that I feel that I would like more protein. It's just a personal preference, since I don't really like drowning my food in oil. I've been a little bit hungry, but not too bad. The website you gave me suggests: 1773 kcal Daily Calorie Intake 20g Net Carbs (5%,…

  • Bodybuilers have more muscles to fuel, and are usually still trying to build. As a mostly sedentary female, I am concerned that the protein will be converted to glucose and not let me enter ketosis.
  • I'm about 129lbs, 5'3", not very active, but fairly young. I'm trying to go on a keto diet, and currently my goal is 1776 calories per day. I might raise/lower it depending on how it's going, and whether or not I'm working out.

Often, when you deplete your body of these nutrients, it will try and put on weight at any time possible, because it thinks you are going to starve. Most people suggest eating at least 1200 calories a day (basal metabolic rate). Personally, I would say…
  • Based off of your profile, it seems that you have quite a lot to lose. I've noticed that it's harder to see your weight loss when you are heavier than when you are lighter. I'd say just keep going with it, and if you still aren't seeing the changes that you want, try something else.
  • Is it okay to bump your own post on this site?
  • I'm 5'3". My highest weight was 175lbs. Currently I am around 129lbs, which although isn't "overweight", but it makes me feel very unhealthy. I have gone low before (85lbs-95lbs), and was able to maintain that while eating very well (2000+kcal per day, lots of variety), but most people thought I looked sick. I don't have a…
