I put mine in the wash 2 weeks ago by accident, still works fine, lol :flowerforyou:

Like a lot of people above, I have been veggie for a very long time. I changed my diet when I was a teenager after I started to question the ethical implications of food and many other things. Although I recall finding the transition difficult, as back then veggie food was in short supply, I have never regretted the…

I have one. Whilst its good and easy to use. I think you could just use a normal pedometer and this site to work out your calories. It would save some money! :flowerforyou:

i got a fitbit recently! if i walk the dog for 20 mins in the morning, ponder around work and then do another hour dog walk that night, it tends to get to 10,000 steps. on the 16.5.12 i did 25,202! i tends to be 1 mile is 2000 steps for me. i have now learnt not to wear it at the gym as it messes it up. i still cant get it…

if you are only just going from meat to veggie, i would make life easy on yourself and swap the meat products for things like quorn/soya/tofu alternatives. that way you can still eat similar dishes to what you are used to, but they are veggie. the things to avoid and nutrition bits come over time. to start with, make it as…

you could try a cereal instead of toast, shredded wheat is good. i always have a snack at 11am anyway, to keep me going to lunch at 1pm. :flowerforyou:

When I was pregnant I was vegan and I breast fed my baby and then moved onto soya baby formula. For the first year she was vegan like me. Then I changed her diet to be vegetarian to open up the options more. She has been brought up vegetarian and she 16 now and it hasn’t done her any harm. If anything she was always…

First time I saw that advert I said what a load of bollocks! But they still play that advert in the UK. I love nutella, but I am not dumb enough to think it’s healthy. If you are dumb enough to believe everything you see on TV, then it’s your own fault you are fat. If I was nutella I wouldn’t give you a penny!

hey, I have been veggie since I was a teen. I have brought my daughter up veggie. when she went to play at mates and their mothers would panic, saying they didn’t know what to give her to eat, I just used to say, do whatever you are doing, but don’t add the meat. sounds simple, but its stopped people stressing. if you…

when you get older you have more control over your life and the things that seemed so big, that you were unable to cope with, they become smaller. hold onto to that idea and maybe it will pull you through. some of this **** will make you stronger, but you have to 'be in it, to win in', as they say. go and get some support.…
