Yes, the foam roller is wonderful! My husband bought one for our house and he uses it daily! It hurts so good!

DOMS - Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. Usually the second day is the worst, for the pain. This is completely normal. Maybe you can reconfigure your lifting schedule to allow more time inbetween lifting? Or work different muscle groups, so legs on Tuesday, Arms on thursday, or something?

I like boobs more! they're fun.

I'm the youngest one at my office by 7 years. I'm 25. I sometimes think I'm the oldest one, with the way the women here act. They're all mothers who are so childish and cause so much drama and gossip. If my mother acted the way these mothers did, I would be appauled.

I met my husband at the gym! :) I work at a gym and workout there as well. He tried approaching me one day while I was working out, but turned out I just kept walking away from him (I didn't realize he was trying to approach me) but he finally asked me out when I was working on a Friday night. I think meeting someone at…

I'm 25! I also work in an office, sitting behind a computer from 8-4:30 daily. Looking to lose around 10-15 lbs as well!

Why not try focusing on your relationship and talking about your concerns?

My husband and I saw two cyclists blow right through their stop sign at a 4-way stop. No stopping, no waiting for their turn. There was us and a car at the stop sign across from us and we were about to go when all of a sudden these cyclist come wizzing past us. I am glad we saw them last minute. I am more than happy to…

is your profile picture current? You don't look like you need to lose any weight to me. I think it's a really ****ty thing for him to say that to you. But I think you need to want to lose the weight for yourself and not anyone else. I personally, don't think I could be with someone who gave me an ultimatum like that, but…

Like others said, if done properly, if you have the right coaches or you know what you're doing, injury isn't necessarily going to happen. Injury can happen with any type of exercise though. My husbands been doing it for a year, 4-5x a week and has not had any injuries.

I use coconut oil for cooking all the time! I cook my fish in it, eggs, anything, you name it! It adds flavour too, which is nice. I have heard that it's delicious in coffee, haven't tried that though. It's also great as an overnight hairmask then wash out the next morning. My sister-in-law uses it on her belly (she's…

Not going to lie...I got a little emotional reading this. Congratulations! I love your attitude about it all as well!

^This. Some people will be supportive. Others will be jealous.

They do hour long classes with a WOD (Workout of the Day). The class contains stretching, warm up, workout and more stretching or rolling out... Depending on the gym you go to, some make sure to make an effort that everyone is using proper technique. Some people are completely against CrossFit, others love it. My husband…

THIS! Confidence goes a long way. No one is perfect, despite some people thinking they are. But you are who you are and you will find someone who loves everything about you. I'm sorry you have faced such negative criticism, but use this to fuel your motivation to get to where you want to be and where you feel happy about…

Well, what first attracted me to my hubby was 2 things How good looking he was, and how he was always so nice and polite on the way into the gym, and I always saw him holding the door for other people. Then I got to know him, and realized he had a great sense of humour, was smart and caring. He wasn't into partying or any…

I don't think you have to, but if you see it turning out to be serious, I think I'd want to know that he is going to be supportive of my journey. I'd eventually bring it up, but it doesn't need to be brought up yet!
-
Congratulations!! I loved your outlook, by celebrating all the losses and not focusing on how much further you had to go. I think that's a great way to look at it!

People tend to gain a bit of weight in new relationships because they tend to eat our more, etc. Try and choose healthier options whenever possible, try other drinks or no drinking, and keep exercising a priority!

This. As women, we tend to over-analyze. I think your husband was giving you a compliment and not trying to sabotage you. I like the posters who say to just agree with him for now, and reasses your goal as you get closer. When I was at my lowest weight that I've been, I felt great about myself but it was about 5 lbs more…
