I don't eat them back as I burn them, but I usually have a couple of days every week where I eat around TDEE, and that brings my daily average up to the same as if I was eating them back every day.

if you're not measuring how do you know you're not losing inches? the weight may come off your lower body later on. it doesn't always come off or go back on evenly.
-
I'm going to make egg salad with sweet pickles and cucumbers! one of my favorites and pretty frequent go-tos.
-
are you eating back exercise calories? if not, perhaps "1300" calories is too low for you, considering how active you are, especially since you're not measuring and could actually be overestimating your calorie consumption. if it's been 3 months something should have changed by now.

I can't chime in for the diabetic aspect but I do have general experience with playing around with carbs. I've lost weight just fine while doing normal amounts of carbs and moderate amounts, right around 100g a day seems to be my sweet spot now, but there are also days where I only get up in the 70s or 80s. I don't notice…

everyone feel free to add! I'm 24, started this round in August. down 41 with 56 to go.
-
you cannot expect to lose 14 pounds in a month. throw that goal completely out the window. you are on a one way trip to an eating disorder if you do not change your goals and expectations right now.
-
you will likely lose water weight during your first and second weeks of controlled caloric intake, and we're talking maybe 5 pounds max. you don't need any special pills for it.
-
burn more calories than you eat.

I'm in the St Pete/Clearwater area

when I go to bed.

your question does not make sense.
-
are you active? then eat some of those exercise calories back!
-
I'm the exact opposite. it's in every place other than my stomach and chest.

5'1'', 40ish down and still have a min of 44 to go. always looking for new friends!
-
I usually use whichever unit is given on the nutrition label. my scale does grams and will do tenths on the ounces option (like 4.3) so either way it's pretty precise.
-
you're likely not eating enough. trust MFP's recommendations. I'm only 5'1'', 64 pounds lighter, and losing weight on 1400 a day. you need to fuel your workouts. if you don't you may end up passing out at the gym.
-
don't worry, it's probably water weight. don't expect that to happen next week. if you start losing more than 2 pounds per week you should up your calories.
-
when did you start?

blood clots are a small risk to most hormonal birth control users, it has nothing to do with how often you get your period, and the chances increase if you're a smoker.
-
have you ever considered going on a birth control that will stop your periods? I have the arm implant and only get one once every 3-4 months, they're also lighter and I don't get the bad mood swings, food cravings, water weight gain, and other problems like I have in the past.

I'm Nicole, 24, from Florida. I work as a nanny but don't want kids of my own. I want to lose the rest of my extra weight, fix my terrible relationship with food, and work on my cardiovascular health.
-
bring it on! 40 down, 46 to go.
-
almost 39 pounds since mid Aug of last year, been kinda doing my own version of IIFYM but I have had lots of success in previous years with the WW point system and just watching calorie intake but not worrying too much about anything else. I have a stationary bike I use at home every day for my exercise.
-
I'm 5'1'' but have a really stocky frame, aiming for 120-130
-
did you have it pulled or cut out? you may have strained a bit too much and irritated the removal site.
-
I have tried this more times than I can remember, but having the support of others, especially with similar goals, can really make a huge difference in the long run. 38 down with another 50-60 to go so I'm right there with ya! let's be friends!
-
if you eat at 5 and don't have class until 6:30 your stomach will probably be ok. eat whatever you want before bed, really doesn't matter.
-
your daily calorie goal on MFP does not factor in how many calories you burn from exercise, it only calculates how many you burn a day from just existing and your normal day to day activities. eating back exercise calories rewards you for being more active and ensures you're not eating too little.

stop worrying. it's normal. if you can't handle the fluctuations then don't weigh yourself so often.
