There's no perfect number. Having said that I recommend 3 times a week with walks, hikes, elliptical workouts on the other 3 days and one rest day. Also you should diversify those runs one should be a LSD or Long Slow Distance, second should be a slow easy Zone 2 heart rate run, finally the third should be a speed work run…
