I'm addicted to books. I read anything and everything and can never get enough. Luckily all my friends have gotten ereaders and have handed over most of their book collections to me so I'll never run out of books! I'm going to start reading through the 1001 books to read before you die.

It's my birthday on Saturday so everyone and their moms have wanted to feed me this week so I haven't had a moment to workout and have been eating horribly all week so I will need this like crazy on Monday! I just want to go back to running at least three days a week. Some sort of weights workout at least three times a…

When you get to a point you think you should stop then throw your napkin on your plate and cover the food. You're less likely to eat it and the server will clear your plate quickly. It's the only way I can stop myself from munching on a plate all night.

I weigh in every Monday morning. Since I use the freight scale at work since it's really accurate if I don't work on a Monday I'll weigh in the following Tuesday.

Mayo doesn't have to be refrigerated but I have to have mine cold so I always refrigerate it.

When you're bored and awake instead of going for the food do some sort of exercise. Jog in place for 10 minutes then if you still want something to eat you have a bit of extra calories to eat.

I have a BodyMedia band and use the Nike + system so I think I may be over doing the electronics for working out but I'm really tempted to get one.

Thank you thank you thank you!

I got sick of the sway in my scale at home so I do all my weigh ins on the freight scale at work. It's mean to weigh pallets and dead accurate!

I'm with Katrina, I have the Bodymedia and I LOVE it. I wear it every day and I love being able to see how just walking more in the office during the day can change my calorie count for the day. It's great to track the tiny little differences you can make in your day to burn a few extra calories here and there.

I did it this morning. Variation 1 - but I changed the last bit to match one I found elsewhere. 100 jumping jacks 90 crunches 80 squats 70 leg lifts 60 jumping jacks 50 crunches 40 squats 30 leg lifts 20 jumping jacks 10 pushups I may change and try variation 2 tomorrow because I liked that but I just need something that…

I'm not sure if you can get just 3 days worth of shakeology. I've only ever seen it available on beachbody.com and you have to buy a whole months supply which is over $100. I know if you're a beachbody member you can get samples from you coach. I've gotten one from my old coach and liked it but could never afford to buy…

I'm 5'7" and I'm thinking 135 but as for most I'll see when I get there. It's been so long since I was at a happy weight I can't recall what it was!
-
I think I'll try to do this as my before work workout! Fingers crossed I remember this in the morning!

I'm all over this! Is this something you do daily?

I have both and love both. Insanity is a great intense cardio workout if you're really looking for weight loss. P90X is a great all around work out for gaining muscle and toning. Both are safe but if you're afraid to jump right in start with P90 it's the program before P90X that is awesome as well just not as intense. I…

I've never found it difficult to drink the water you're supposed to drink. I have a 20oz bottle at my desk at work and in just the 9 hours I'm there I drink a good 15-20 cups.

I run or walk on off days during my lunch break at work. Then I workout after work as well. I keep trying to workout in the morning but I just haven't been able to drag myself out of bed for it yet!
-
I just started today as well! It felt good. I started with a Couch to 10K but switched to this deciding I need to start at the bottom and work my way up! Good luck!

I have a bodybug and I live by it but I'd get a HRM if I didn't have it. I think it's great to be able to gauge things more accurate to YOU and how your body burns than just a generic number. It's the best way to gauge your fitness levels not just weight loss.

Trying this very soon!

I really need to work on this as well.

I can't do cheat days. I'll fall off track with even one. I will have some "cheat meals" when a special occasion comes up with my friends but I make up for it with what I eat the rest of the day and throwing in an extra workout in the day or week to counter balance. You can't be 100% good but I try to be as close to 90% as…

jennieodwyer- I was only able to do my first two days before my injury flared up and I have to take a few days off again but once I do a few days 100% into it I'll get back to you and let you know!

Please thank your husbands for their service for me, and thank you for all you do as military wives as well.

You should always have a day off but if you feel guilty if you do something really light like a 30 minute light walking that is still a day off to your body. I can't take days 100% off of everything because I just feel grubby so my days off are days I do just a light yoga in the morning and maybe a quick 30/45 minute walk…

I say it's worth investing in a heart rate monitor or body bug to track your calories burned. I've had a body bug for over a year now and live by it when tracking workouts. I don't use the lists that MFP has in their database. I just create my own each time with the Workout plan and day (IE: Insanity Day 2) and the time…

I just started Insanity on Tuesday but sadly think I have to put it off for another week or so. I had a tendon injury about a month ago and doing insanity yesterday it swelled up pretty bad again and it's just not worth the risk.

I'm doing the C10K right now. (Yesterday was day 2 of week 1) What does week 1 look like for the C25K? Possibly start with one of the shorter versions first as a stepping stone to get to the 25K?!
