Try going to a chiropractor. I told mine about my hurting feet and she was able to adjust them to the point now I rarely have pain in my feet unless they are out of whack.

Love mine, on my second one as my first one accidentally split . I would recommend getting a square trade warranty on one if you do get one. They took care of me when I broke the first one and I had enough to get my second one. I have had a fit bit for about a year.

I am 5'8 as well. Highest weight was 246ish (at least that is the weight I was when I started my journey, might have been more) Lowest I have been was 153 and current is 161 (a little backtracking this last 9 months) goal is 145.
