I tend to eat 3 times a day most days without snacking. Though some days I only have two meals. I tend to do really well with a high protein meal and some fat. If I feel a snack attack coming on, I will have some herbal tea with a spoonful of coconut oil. That seems to hit the spot and fill me up.

Some days I watch my calories and some days I don't. I definitely watch what I am eating in terms of making sure I have protein, fat, and a veg. I am going to try my first WOD tomorrow since I got rear ended, almost 2 weeks off. After a few chiro/massage appts I am feeling pretty good. I have never been so excited to work out. I miss Crossfit!

We put one foot in the band then cross the free foot over. You should definitely be able to do a pull-up with the thick black band. I am using a medium gray band mixed with a small red or small blue depending on how many pull-ups we are doing.

Wed 8/24 Helen 3 rounds for time 400m run 21 KB swings 1 pood 12 Pull-ups 16:49 I was 30 seconds slower since my last time. I am ok with this since last time I was using the thickest band. Today I was using a lower resistance band. So its a win in my book. One day I will not need bands, I am determined :-)

Tues 8/23: 30 minutes of Plyometrics then Death by Push-ups (strict) 1 rep in the first minute, 2 rep in the second minute, 3 reps in the third minute, etc. Go until you can't finish the reps for that minute. I completed 9 reps/minute.

Today is a well deserved rest day. Tomorrow I am taking part in the Portland Oyster Urban Adventure Race. It is like a mini-Amazing Race around the city of Portland, we will be biking, running, and solving clues. Should be super fun and lots of action!

After a Pull-up/burpee fest I could not straighten my arms for 3-4 days. They also were extremely swollen. I got worried and called my trainer. He suggested icing the swollen/sore areas and it worked. Anytime I am sore inside of my arm at the elbow bend after pull-ups, I ice now and it does the trick.

Sometimes we do hand release but most of the time it is basic push-ups.

I am back from vacation! Well sort of... I am resting one more day before I start my WODs back up. I took about 2.5 weeks off. It is going to be rough. You all looking like you have been kicking butt! Keep it up.
