I like using the Elliptical as another cardio option, most of the time I do 25-30 minutes.. I also like the Arc Trainer as I can put up the incline and put the resistance to 100.. depends on the day - how packed the gym is for using either machine and days of cardio I'll do 60 min on the arc trainer.. :) instead of…

I like to run in the morning in the summertime before work and sometimes I'll do a longer run at night and break up my miles. now that it's the winter I try to get to work earlier so I can leave at a decent time to make it to the gym or a zumba class. I'll run on my treadmill at home as a last resort since it's soo loud…

from what i read.. you already made your decision. just be there for your son and make him and yourself a priority. and just remember... actions speak louder than words. Do what you need to do for yourself. :) Hope things work out for you.

I will surely do my best to log but I won't get overzealous and panic about everything that I ate/drank.etc

the hard part for me was clothes for work. the pants part mainly. things were just to big - even with a belt on it looked silly. so I slowly incorporated sizes that fit and when those didn't fit i'd get them taken in as much as I could, but if the pockets got to close together it was time for a new pair. it was too much to…

every day is a new day. so you made 1 bad choice perhaps, don't let that bog you down or get in your way of reaching your goals. remind yourself why you're doing this. and hey it's okay to have 1 bad day.. we all do :) no one is perfect.
-
i have to say the same, i get upset too. let that help in your motivation and don't ever let it deter you away from reaching your goals. You are a strong person and look at what you have already accomplished. Keep up your hard work and do it for yourself :)

oh also, don't be intimidated about running outside and having to take a walking break. I have had to do that a few times with weather conditions. I know you said you want to try to run non-stop, but if you're body needs you to stop, take a walking break :) :)

I should have just said this ! LOL :) great post :)

great advice here. I prefer to run outside. however, it get's dark too damn early where I live right now and if I want to run, I go on my treadmill. Treadmills are boring to me though, so I'm lucky if I can go more than 6 miles. lol I also put my treadmill on an incline of atleast 1 or 2 so I feel like i'm challenging…
