girls with muscles - are sexy and fit. but what I think is more sexy - girls who are confident in their own skin, no matter what. :)

agreed. there's so much more to being "beautiful" than just being skinny. what about personality or a kind heart and like some have said, true beauty is within. :)

depends on how far i plan on running and of course other factors like energy level, weather..etc. however, it usually takes me till mile 2 to get in the groove. if i tell myself i'm going for a short run 3-5 miles then end up running more i'm hitting my groove sooner. if i say i'm doing 6-11 miles it takes a me till at…

i love coffee too. i drink it with 1 tablespoon of half and half. No sugar needed, as i'm already sweet enough ;) hahah and i'm okay with it. I only have 1 a day.. and i'll warm it up in the afternoon if I do need another jolt. other than that I should move to skim milk, and eventually I will, slowly just like I did with…

so don't starve yourself. eat foods high in fiber and protein and lower your carb intake if you feel like you are still starving, then re-evaluate what you are eating. snack more often, drink more water. up your calories - you dont have to stay at 1290. i've upped my calories and played around until i felt comfortable with…

it seems scary - because it's different. but fear not. as you said - you were busy making someone else happy for the past 2 years, you got comfortable doing that, (I was the same way in a past relationship). but with every relationship and breakup - it's an experience and you learn. you fnd out what you want and dont want…

You're in college - you don't "Have to Have" a boyfriend or be in a relationship... make it the best years of your life. you're young, single and take in…

had mine removed about 4 years ago.. my doctor basically told me to stay away from fatty/fried and processed foods. I will be honest, i have them once in a while and they do bother me, so I really try to avoid them as much as possible. the pain afterwards is never worth having it. lol. I also increased my excercise and…

stay hydrated.. drink plenty of water and if the race provides gatorade definitely grab some as you run. It will help with the electrolytes. see how you feel and rest if you need to. Have you been running in this type of temperatures before?

Oh also, see if talking to your mom and sharing your weight loss goals would help her understand why you are using this site as a tool. Sometimes they just want to feel a part of it. Hope things work out for you :)

i have a coworker that tells me that too! i brush her off. I remind myself.. If logging my food and excercise and tracking my progress is obssessive - then fine with me LOL. it helps me with my goals, and there's nothing wrong with that :)
-
keep logging calories. put yourself first. do what you need to do for yourself :) don't give up just because it may be hard right now. I log everything too and it used to annoy/bother my mom. However, now that i've done it for so long my mom and family are getting used to it. when they ask why i still do it, I say it's…
