  • Thank you ladies. Sorry I have not been around. I read the article with great interest. I never knew most of the things she was talking about in the video. Thank you for sharing the link.
  • Thank you for the warm welcome. I know what you mean. I don't appreciate them as much as I should either. I have to be more grateful to those who support me.
  • Hi, Thank you for inviting me to this group. The list you posted has some very good ideas. I need to improve my mindset on a lot of things. I tend to be a happy go lucky person but I also waste a lot of time on negativity. So now one of my mental goals is to take deep breaths, to inhale my blessings and blow out the toxins.
  • Welcome mxchana, You will like it here :-)
  • Charlie, I am so proud of you. You Rock. Computer, every 1/2 lb. brings you closer to goal. Fig, Marion, 3 pounds is excessive. You got what you were after. Kudos! Wooken, how wonderful to meet an active MFP member, I would really, really enjoy having that opportunity. Glad you had a good time. Ker, Just being alone for a…
  • Charlie, You are doing fantastic. Your goal is reasonable. Jet,Happy Anniversary. Just remember, last gained is first off. I hated pain meds after I broke my ankle, they made me spacey. I managed better without them but not everyone is the same. Do what you can with the bike, don't overdue it.
  • I found the recipe site. Pretty cool. Thanks for sharing.
  • Retire happy, any music is good when it makes you want to move and it makes you happy :-)
  • Charlie, You really have it all so well planned out. Never thought of trying Pandora on my smart phone. Like you, I love working out to hip hop. I too like Bruno Mars and Adele and I like One Republic a lot also. The music I lined danced to has most of all of the artists you mentioned, Sinatra, Buble, etc. I have them in…
  • Marion, Nice of you to start the month. Perhaps the Autumn air will help you get some rest. You are Upstate New York, the leaves as you say must be beautiful about now. Hope it's a nice Fall and winter doesn't come too early in your neck of the woods, unless of course you like the cold. Happy Trails, Claudine
  • Hello again. Already a new week and a new month. Congratulations to all you losers. Wonderful. Yes, Marise, I love new beginnings. Wanda, BIG Kudos to you for doing so much with your broken foot. How wonderful that you are so close to goal. You are really incredible with your work-outs. It can't be easy with any…
  • BV, I hope the air pressure won't be a problem for you when you are flying. I feel for you with your broken foot. You are brave to use the crutches. Your balance is much better than you imagine. I was so wobbly with the crutches that I (almost) immediately switched to a walker and hopped around with that while I was in the…
  • Welcome Janel and IKW. You will find a lot of support here. Happy Trails, Claudine
  • Safe travels Linda. Enjoy those grandchildren to the max.
  • So many travelers. How exciting. Smiles, Good job and great goal setting. Where in Europe are you going? Many hotels in the small towns do NOT have WiFi. Your lucky to get a couple of outlets in your room unless perhaps you are staying on the Champs-Elysees. I was there last Summer, (I'm part French and have a lot of…
  • Charlie, You went through so much. You are correct, we should listen to our doctors but from what you dealt with, they should listen to their patients as well. You had a feeling something was wrong - bigger problems that the support hose couldn't fix. So happy they finally addressed the problems you were having. Look how…
  • Welcome Sloshmog! You're sure to enjoy this group as much as we do. Happy Trails, Claudine
  • Happy for you that you will soon be reunited with a new Fitbit. Claudine
  • Thank you Pamela. Happy Friday to Everyone. Wooken, you never cease to put a smile on my face. Your positive influence motivates me. Enjoy Captain Morgan :-) Happy Trails, Claudine
  • Congratulations to all you losers. What a great feeling that must be. Wooken, Glad your dental nightmares are over and you will soon be back home. Charlie, I can only reiterate what everyone else said. I, too, believe that attitude and mindset have a lot to do with weight loss. You are an inspiration to us all. It's…
  • Thank you for the suggestions. I'm trying a few different strategies. I'm putting post-its on the fridge and certain foods in the pantry that tell me to go look in the mirror before I eat. So far, that's helped me. Time will tell. Claudine
  • Grandchildren stories are so uplifting. They have a knack to make us smile.
  • I will try. I realize the holidays are not that far off but I admit, I have trouble staying focused on long term goals. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Claudine
  • I was at the end of my blurb and lost it all. So...... W3, I feel for you. The worst is almost over, you are 3 weeks into this. Enjoy all the sugar free pudding you can and take the opportunity to enjoy some trashy novels. See, out of everything bad, something good happens :-) Charlie, The NSV's are a sweet surprise. At…
  • Smiles, I think we posted at the same time :-) As You said, let's kick this trend around. Claudine
  • Charlie, I don't believe that is real weight. It must be water retention and the altitude combination. Marian, Congratulations on being so focused and losing the weight. Deb, Congratulations on your loss. I had a lot of high sodium food last night and I am up 2 pounds, which I cannot afford to be since I don't lose weight…
  • That video was really funny. The comments from the other women were hilarious.
  • Granmanana, Thanks for starting this new month. Sounds like you had a great holiday week-end. Wanda, The fitbit is really a great little tool, keeps you motivated. Smilesback, Please keep us posted on your sons housing conditions. I truly hope like your hubby said, there is nothing to worry about. But you know 'Us Moms',…
  • Cabjfb1980, Sounds like this plan can work. You have a great attitude. What''s so good, is you figured out what works and doesn't for you. You're trying to new ways to be successful, which in itself is a triumph. Happy Trails, Claudine
  • I can only reiterate everything that Charlie said. So often we think we can fix everything on our own but counseling puts things in perspective. There is no judgement. It helps you sort out your feelings and gives you guidance on how to handle the stresses that come along. A counselor won't necessarily agree or disagree…
