Definitely a small world :)

Yep.. in Fenton!

I workout or chew a piece of gum. Sometimes I just give into the temptation, lol.

Thanks! :)

Too much protein will lead to more sugar which leads to more fat - so I have read. Hopefully someone can answer more thoroughly.

Age doesn't matter. I know 40 year olds who do this. And I agree with previous poster.
-
I agree about Jessica Alba.. there is nothing attractive about her to me (maybe because I'm a girl? lol). But I do love me some Johnny Depp.. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!

I live in Fenton, MI..sorry!

Pop is bad for you. Period. Diet just adds to the effects.

It depends on how long you're working out. I have a 3 year old so sometimes I workout twice 20 minutes each (cardio). He just gets in the way sometimes! If you're doing over 30 minutes 3 times a day, that seems excessive. After 60 minutes, your body starts to eat muscle (so I have read).

Get an Oregon Scientific OR-SE102 Heart Rate Monitor Watch - $35 at many many stores including Walmart and it HAS a chest strap. Without a chest strap (or an arm strap I suppose) you'll be getting inaccurate readings and it's not even worth the money. Believe me.. I had one and it was SO off.
-
I would imagine its the new medication, right? If you're going to stay on the medication you may notice quite a big weight loss, but it should stop after a few weeks.

I have an Oregon Scientific OR-SE102 Heart Rate Monitor. It was only $35 at Walmart (and comparable online) and it counts my calories and all that fancy stuff. It's perfect for what I need. Has a chest strap so it continually updates your HR and also has options to enter your age, weight, height and fitness level.
-
I wait until my HR goes back down to normal.. sometimes in the 110's I'll log that number if I want to get the thing off.
-
I'm from Michigan too :) Advice - stick to it. Eat back the calories you burn through exercise. Drink your water. Limit your added sugar and sodium. Ya know.. basic stuff :)

It's probably loose skin. Most of my stomach is lose skin (fat is in the back!) and just regular toning can help, but depending on how big you got and all that, it won't ever be the same as pre-baby.

Synthroid is for your Thyroid. Do you have low/high TSH, T3 T4 levels or is the Doctor just sticking you on something to shush you up? I do not take medication unless I have thourally scoped it out and have asked 100 questions. If there is no talk about thyroid hormones being out of whack, then I wouldn't take the…

I agree.. the strap may need to be cleaned and wet. Mine gives me troubles if I don't have it almost soaking wet - drives me insane when I see my HR go from 160 to 80!
-
I am more of a pear (I think? Lol), but I'm insanely tall too so finding jeans are just.. ugh.. a nightmare! Target seems to work the best for me! They have "curvy" jeans that give more room in the hips! In my case, I need more room for my love handles ;) Hahaha

I was called "obsessed" by my Fiance the other night because it was 10pm and I was really wanting to snack and he said "Just have it.. go ahead. Can't starve yourself" blah blah blah and I said yeah, but all that sugar will get stored since I'm just going to sleep right after. I told him he can suck a big fat D lol…

I do not drink pop much at all anymore, and if I do, it's Vernors and NEVER diet pop. I stay away from artificially sweetened things as much as possible. Anyway, I have a couple cups of coffee in the morning (small cups - 6oz each at most). I have read over and over that a little caffeine can be okay for upping your…

I do not have any ED background, but I do think that he is right. Once a week is a good way to go so you don't obsess. Even for someone without an ED! I used to weigh every couple days hoping to see some loss and was always disappointed. Now, I wait a week and I'm usually never disappointed. BTW - you are beautiful and…

You should get fitted since everyone's feet are shaped differently. That being said, I LOVE Reebok! They fit my feet very nicely and I just love how they feel.
-
I'd say "so long" to that kind of "friend". Anyone who makes you feel like crap or puts any kind of negativity into your life is not someone you want around anyway. Good job on your weight loss success :)
-
I have some taco seasoning packets left to use up, but I will try what was mentioned above. YUMMY! I love tacos :D

Watching your sodium intake and increasing your water intake, right? If not, water weight will get ya real quick. Plus, our body goes through so many different stages of digestion that weight can fluctuate 2lbs in just one day!

When I first started working out January 2010, I purchased the Wii Fit + bundle with the Wii board and all that. I lost most of my weight from that! I went from 175lbs to 150lbs in about 5 months. I did incorporate Gold's Gym Cardio (mostly boxing) into it as well and the weight seemed to just fall off. Could be…

Too much sodium = heart problems. That would be the main worry over bloating.

Do NOT eliminate fruits and veggies! Those are NATURAL sugars.. sugars that are okay for you. You want to watch added sugars - pop, juices, cake, candy, etc. That sugar is bad for you and should be limited as much as possible.
