  • Metamucil chocolate wafers are 100 calories a pack - one pack is two wafers. Now....you have to drink a ton of water with them and I only eat one a day b/c it's too much fiber for me to eat two (at least right now) but the one wafer makes a great treat each day. Seriously, drink at least a full glass of water per wafer. I…
  • What about soups? They are my go to when I am out of ideas. That or some sort of egg bake. It's amazing how awesome eggs taste when mixed w/ a little cheese and broccoli or topped w/ salsa. If you have a Carrabbas in your area and are ever in a bind for a meal, get a bowl of their minestrone. It's A-MAZING!!
  • A slice of deli meat wrapped around a slice of cheese is a go to for me. That or peanut butter on a graham cracker.
  • 5'0" here and I have two pictures uploaded to my profile. One at the start (but from a flattering angle - I generally didn't keep many pictures of myself b/c I just was never happy w/ how I looked) and one from a week ago. It's AMAZING how much difference just 10lbs makes on a shortie :) I will try to grab a shot at each…
  • I second the air popped popcorn. It's got that good crunch to it that lets you much away.
  • I cut out wine and replaced it w/ a TON of iced tea or hot tea (just depending on my mood). I like my tea plain so basically I replaced wine w/ flavored water, LOL. Once I get to my goal weight I will bring the wine back but in moderation to meet my maintenance calorie goals for the day.
  • I am really rather odd about eggs, my ideal choices are: I will eat the whole egg if it's: Scrambled Omlette Quiche Deviled I will eat just the white (although just a smidge of yolk is fine) if it's: Fried Poached Boiled It's just personal preference. I really don't care for the yolk when the yolk is very seperate from the…
  • Tortilla chips - good ones. I can eat mexican and make it work for me health and calorie wise, but it's the chips that get me. If I am going to splurge I will go crazy on tortilla chips (assuming there is really good salsa, guacamole or queso dip to eat ON the chips, LOL).
  • Oh, another good one and a favorite of mine for dinner at times. Chili and eggs. Scramble some eggs and top w/ a lean chili. I like to sprinkle some very sharp cheese on top but it's totally optional. Also - cook some non-fat canned refried beans (you can add your own favorite fat in for flavor or just stay plain) and put…

  • I was just using up leftover broccoli once and found how good it paired w/ eggs. Make little "egg muffins" and drop broccoli and a smidge of bacon or sausage in and top w/ a sprinkle of your favorite cheese. It's really, really good! Better than I had thought it would be. Also, this weekend, my daughter requested chicken,…

  • I LOVE these cookies. I grew up calling them Forgotten Cookies (b/c of the cooking method) and adding chocolate chips. I have never thought of trying them w/ no cal sweetener. Thanks for the GREAT idea!
  • I have only tried the cookies n cream and cookie dough version. The cookie dough was suprisingly good. Everyone keeps talking about heating them so I ate 1/2 out of the package and saved the other 1/2 and heated it. I liked it better cold. Today I tried the cookies n cream. Again ate the 1st 1/2 in the AM cold and then…
  • While at work I drink between 4 to 8 20 oz glasses each day. When I get bored w/ it I will make the occasional quick ice tea (make cup of hot tea and pour on ice and top off w/ water). At home I drink about the same. I really drink the majority after 7pm as it helps me to have something to sip on to NOT get the bored…

  • I'll vouch for Justin's too and like the other poster, I buy in the little packets as I trust myself to not sneak "just one more taste" when it 's prepackaged like that. Nutella really is yummy though. Like a nice jar of icing.......

  • I either do a half container of greek yogurt or drink half an Atkins Dark Chocolate Royale or eat half a Quest Bar if I have on hand. If not I make a peanut butter foldover on the Nature's Own 50 calorie 100% whole wheat bread. Sometimes before eating if I kind of went crazy on calories during the day I will try out a cup…
  • I have been drinking 1/2 of an Atkins Advantage Chocolate Royale in the evenings after dinner if I get the munchies. Since it's been such a pretty spring, I have been doing stuff in the garden after work or playing w/ my daughter outside prior to dinner. Helps keep my mind from the fridge and also helps me chug down some…
  • I am 5 ft and am 149 and am fitting perfectly into a 10P. I have found that every 10-12lbs usually equates to a size down (or up - boo!!) for me.
  • I used to use MyNetDiary and LOVED it. But I have a good friend who I am supporting (she asked me to join MFP) here and I have grown to really like MFP. If you have a friend who doesn't like MFP I would highly recomment MyNetDiary - but don't know much about other apps/websites.
  • Me too! I am really shooting for the 115-120 range but know I will probably end up about 130. I have done it before and I am happy there - it's just not as great as the 115-120 range where I can wear just about ANYTHING I want and it hangs perfectly ;) Good

  • Five foot even here! My starting weight was 155 and right now I am at 150. I can actually tell a difference in my jeans. It's amazing how much 5lbs is when you are SHORT!! Feel free to add me :)
  • This is exactly my weak point too. Every time I have lost weight, it has been when I eat correctly and cut out the wine. Heck, even when I was pregnant I lost weight just from the good diet and cutting alcohol (starting weight when pregnant: 150, weight as I left the hospital w/ the baby: 139 - it was awesome). I just…
  • In general, 1400 calories is pretty easy for me when I actively am watching my diet and really trying. I am not sure how MFP comes up w/ 1200. When I use another tracking app I was always in the 1350-1400 range depending on my activity level.

  • Oh my gosh! Those look SO good. I love baked oatmeal and my go to is always the same, oats, banana, blueberries, and almond milk. It's good but getting a little old. I can not WAIT to try your version. YUM!
  • I totally understand lennyfitz77. Up to now I have used MyNetDiary and it's great. I joined here b/c a friend asked me. When I use a tracking system I am all over the weight loss and management. When I don't, I ALWAYS gain back. ALWAYS!! Sometimes it takes a year to do but it never fails.
  • Hi - I am new. My dear friend has jumped into weight loss and asked me to join MFP to cheer her on. Well I too need to lose about 40-45 lbs so here I am :) SW: 160 CW: 153 GW: 115 I'm closing in on 43 and stand at just 5'0". Today is my 2nd day on MFP but about 3 weeks into my weight loss journey. I don't have any amazing…
