I just stuck with it! It was difficult, but every day I stayed under 1200 calories and DEFINITELY running sped things up! Honestly the time just kind of flew by! Again thank you everyone! :3

The answer is: yes! Weight loss is approximately 80% food intake and 20% exercise, and definitely walking counts as exercise, and it's definitely better than nothing at all! Just my first gut feeling! I didn't expect it at all, just sort of an instant in-my-brain "this guy's pointing out how fat I was!" But the next second I obviously realized, I'm not the same obese person I was when the picture was taken and it's great that he noticed!
