Hello my name is Sarah and I'm addicted to shoes and pizza!
-
'I Love Myself Today' by Bif Naked. Gets me running every time!!
-
I usually mix fresh fruit (bananas, peaches, or berries normally), a small handful of toasted oats, and sometimes some honey (depending on the fruit) into plain, non-fat yogurt. Filling and healthy :)

Well, I crapped out on the last week It's been a week of adjustments with the new job, schedule, etc., and I've actually gained weight over September! :( October is my month though, I can feel it. I'm starting at the Y on Monday and looking to get that scale moving in the right direction!

My shedule has been crazy with wrapping up the old job and starting the new one... I owe you my summary for last week, Jamie, and I will send that tonight. Will try to be 100% this week!!!

When I need motivation, my go-to song is always 'I Love Myself Today' - Bif Naked

I'm definitely still here, but haven't lost :( I switched up my diet just before starting this, so I think I'm just taking some time to adjust. I messed up a few days last week with diet and water, but I'm back on it hardcore until the end of the month!!!

How's the team doing? Is there a list somewhere where we can compare to other teams? Hope you're all enjoying this and doing well! I'm going to up my game this week :explode:

A long time ago I lost 85 lbs without exercising. Take a guess at how long it took to gain it all back?? You can do it, but it will be extremely hard to maintain once you get there, and you won't feel healthy. At that time I was thin, but not healthy in the least and actually felt horrible. I would -never- recommend anyone…

How's everyone doing? I'm loving this, but the scale doesn't seem to be. I'm being patient with the "toning" process and not putting too much pressure on the number though. 5 miles, really??? I don't know about that one - running my second race on Sunday, and that 5K is the longest I've done to date... I suppose the next…

Plan, plan, plan!! I wouldn't change your weigh-in day... that just lets you ignore the fact that it happened. For me, it's all about planning the meals ahead of time, and not having extra calories available in the house. Plus, if you take advantage of the extra weekend time to throw in some long workouts, you can allow…

I did the advanced, but it almost killed me! ;) I was with you thinking the bear walk wouldn't be bad... holy crap!! That and the burpees were a struggle, but I did it... plus a 5K run this morning. Hoping I can keep up with this pace now that I'm back to work tomorrow... and travelling Wed-Thurs. Doing it as a challenge…

Perfect. Thank you!! :)

So, do we have to do the run on all days in order to get the points? And, can we mix the 1 miles and 5Ks? I'm doing the Advanced work-out, and I normally try to do 5K three times per week, but would add in the 1 mile on the remaining days... will that cound as points for every day, or just the 5K days? Thanks for the…

Put a small handful of raspberries (frozen are actually preferable to fresh since they'll break down more) in a small container with a few splashes of balsamic vinegar and some spices (I prefer a spicy Asian mix) and put it in the fridge over night... you'll get a sweet and spicy dressing that's great on salads -…

Under Armor is great. And, I tend to run in the parks in the winter rather than in my neighbourhood... that way there is less traffic and I can run on the roads rather than the sidewalks. The sidewalks can get slippery when people walking have packed down the snow, but the edges of the park roads tend to be cleared, even…

Great job!! I know the feeling - the first time I ran a whole 5K distance, I cried at the end because I was so proud of myself ;) Keep at it and you'll keep amazing yourself!!

What about HealthMaid? I like the idea of MaidCare, but the "care" doesn't necessarily imply healthcare in that instance - just care taken in providing maid services. I think HealthMaid gives a better impression of what you do...

Ready!! Can't wait to kill September! :explode:

Finished 104oz today! 18.9% more than needed, accoring to the whole half-your-weight policy!

Yes - no one else in my office reacted, so rather than looking crazy by asking someone here I texted my hubby and he felt it in downtown Toronto as well.
-
I'm all the way in Toronto (or, actually, at my office about 60km north of Toronto) and I felt it!

I try to do this daily - I have a 16oz cup that I refill at least 6 times a day, so I'm a bit over half. My body got used to it in about 2 weeks, so it's not bad. And, as for the scary "water intoxification" thing, I did actually experience it once, and it takes a lot of water in a very short timeframe to do it. My feet…

Okay... back to actively logging! I've been keeping up with "doing" just not with "documenting." I'm going out of town this weekend, but will get at least some treadmill time in at the hotel - in addition to all the gallivanting around NYC! Goal 315 minutes for the week of 8/22/11: Mon: ?? / 60 Tue: ?? / 60 Wed: Rest Thu:…

I lost you guys there for a bit, but I'm still knocking it out!! Will add things up and post later regarding Week #9. Can't wait to post my weigh-in on Monday... I'm finally busting through my plateau :)
-
I'd not heard of it until you posted this. I might pick it up though... will take a look this afternoon to see if I can find it. :)

We didn't want to go with one of the more traditional songs, and I'm into jazzier stuff, so our first dance was to "A Wink and a Smile" by Harry Conick Jr. We chose it because we were complete opposites that somehow just clicked together... "well you can't have a dream and cut it to fit, but when I saw you, I knew, we go…
