Awesome success so far! I hope your back is doing better, injuries can be so discouraging. Also, thank you for volunteering to be Captain!
-
I don't know how to keep up either, I'm just making it up as I go. :D Fun to see so many people from our group saying hello!

Great work on the 20 lbs!
-
20 lbs, fantastic! And training for a marathon! You're having a super year, keep up the great work. :)

Whoops, licked the spoon after dishing out yogurt to the kids. Funny how little bites, licks, or tastes can become automatic if you're not careful. I guessed on the calories and logged it, I'm back on the logging train today!
-
Nice to have you in our group!
-
Good luck to you as well! We can do this!
-
I'm trying to get back to good tracking as well. The last month or so was a free for all. :s Logging ALL my calories today! I think the first week is the hardest, then it becomes more routine.

Weigh-In Day: Tuesday

That team name cracks me up! Good luck to you as well.

You are doing fantastic this year! Well done! I love my FitBit, I have a One that's attached to me almost always. It motivates me to move many times when I would otherwise be on the couch. :D

Team Gutbusters! Love our name, I have a good feeling about this group. :) I'm excited to get back to losing weight, one month is a great timeframe to commit to this. About me: I started losing weight with calorie counting/MFP in July 2015. My starting weight was 215 lb. and I lost 25 lbs. in 2015. My goal is to lose…

Google the "origin of 10,000 steps" and you may come to the conclusion that the 'proper, magic number' is arbitrary. Exercise is good for your body. Be as active as you happily (key word) can, for life. My step goal is set to 8,000. Some days I get less, some days I get many more, but no matter what, I know I'm more active…

It would be really great if My Fitness Pal added a weight trend graph someday. It seems to be a desired form of presenting weight data.

Haha! I'm even more disturbed that it took her 6 years to do a proper cleaning of her office. :D

Enjoy! I'm addicted to my Fitbit in the best way possible. :)

I switched from a Charge to a One. My hands are in water a lot during the day, so I was constantly taking it off. Plus, wearing it all the time irritated my skin a bit. For these reasons, I'll probably always stick to a non wrist tracker. It just works better for my lifestyle. I miss being able to easily scroll through my…

Which you said, sorry for restating, I was just thinking out loud. :D
-
That makes sense! So when you hit your goal weight, your maintenance calories will need to be higher.
-
Just out of curiosity, when you set your MFP calorie level per maintenance at goal, was that while you were trying to lose weight or was that for maintenance? I ask, because I would like a long term, consistent number for my calorie goal during weight loss. Right now, I take a look at my weekly average Calories Burned per…

How cool! You look the same as 20 years ago, well done.
-
Very inspiring, great work! Thank you so much for sharing.

Haha, that's a great summary for me, too! I'll also add insomnia hungry - where my stomach is so empty and my body is so hungry I either can't sleep or wake up frequently in the middle of the night. Eating something as simple as a cheese stick and water helps, but plain water with no food doesn't help much.

I hear you, I keep calculating in my head how long it will take or how many weeks, months, years to reach goal. However, when I do that it's crazy-making! Try to find balance between the mental attention and devotion to the goal of losing weight and other life projects. When my life is busy and I have other projects and…

My FitBit wifi dongle in my laptop has been giving me problems (it used to always be on, now the software is always disconnected), so I've been exclusively using my phone for syncing. I'll play around with my laptop and see if I can get it to run well again, perhaps that would help? Thank you!

Still happening, but I think I figured out why. It has to do with my weigh-in. I've been weighing in only on Monday mornings since January 11th. FitBit is not taking my most recent weight into account when calculating my Calories Burned, which is problematic and disappointing. I would have thought that, per each 24-hour…

Many pants/jeans are sized 22-32. Think designer jeans, check out the size chart for 7 For All Mankind, for example. If you're a US size 4, you would indeed have close to a 26 pant/jean size.

I lost first in the places I accumulated last. So for me that under my chin, some in my upper arms, and stomach.

Wow lady! You rock!
