Perhaps this is why it's not counting all of your steps? Specifically, the part referring to wearing the One "...with the display facing outward." https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/How-do-I-wear-my-One

(Sorry, I must of edited out the other posters quote wrong.)

I always forget to add this in my story!!! Before I lost weight I did not have a period for 3 years, was told I couldn't have children & I had ovaries problems. Within the first month of working out I got my period after 40 pounds lost I went to the doctor & I am able to have kids! It's totally wort it not only do I feel…

That's a really great perspective, thank you for sharing that insight.

Not according to the website "Only Eat Tuna and Lettuce." It's my bible. They even allow water with lemon for dessert! It's divine, although I've developed this strange side effect of my hair falling out... but they swear it's temporary.

That's a good tip!

Going to swim against the tide here and say I prepare and plan my food completely separate from my family. It's the only way I can perfectly count calories (or as perfect as possible for me). The kids have growing bodies, growing brains, and do not have a weight problem. My husband doesn't have a weight problem. They can…

Not pretty, but it's 12 meals! Brown Rice, Broccoli, & 1 Egg = 305 Calories per Container

I for one have never understood why onions are in SO. MANY. MEALS. They make me gag.

When I see a thread that exploded in a short span of time, I like to read the first page, then jump to the last page to see how far things have derailed. In this case, I got a cat eating a banana gif. Win!

I, too, find it disappointing that counting calories was specifically called out as an example of something negative in the commercial. A friend of mine showed me how count points in her WW book a few years ago and my head was swimming from the steps. Calorie counting with the MFP app takes seconds per meal, on average.…

I think the vast majority of people are participating legitimately in FitBit and I find challenges to be incredibly fun and motivating. It's not out of the realm of possibility to earn insanely high badges (100,000+) and in fact I hope to earn some big badges in time. However, I would personally have to walk for 10 hours…

What a transformation, congrats on your hard work!

FitBit specifically states that they do not recommend wearing it on your ankle.

Great work!

Wonderful! Your story is inspiring, thank you so much for sharing.

I need to adopt this as my MFP resolution.

Please send me an invite if you still have spots available, this sounds like a great challenge to get me through the rest of winter!

I love my Aria! The fact that it automatically updates to FitBit and MFP is really wonderful, I love seeing my weight graphs and I find myself weighing more often and with more honesty (meaning, good and bad weigh-ins are automatically logged, no kidding myself by simply not entering my weight online if I see a number I…

That's helpful, thank you!

Does meat cooked in a crockpot need to be completely submerged in some type of liquid/sauce? Or do you just put some type of liquid/sauce on the bottom of the pot? I've always been confused by this.

What an inspiring, genuinely amazing transformation! Well done and thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. This is one of the best success stories I've seen on MFP.

Air popped popcorn, cheese stick, pretzels, wasa crackers dipped in salsa (chips and salsa substitute) carrots, soup (tomato is low calorie), some hot water+bouillon cube+cut up pickle or two=10-15 calorie 'soup' (but high in sodium)
