Hoka One One sells shoes for supination. I personally have the Bondi 6. They’re kind of ugly, but it’s the best shoe I’ve had in years for long distance walking.

Great work and insights, thanks for sharing!

Great work!

Bump! Old thread, I know, but one of my all time favorites and reminds me I’m not alone.

Yes, those are years! Still working on flattening my curve. :# Edit: I forgot to add, I’m F/5’6.5”

I remembered incorrectly... I paid $50.00 for 13 months, so approximately $3.85 per month for 13 months.

Yes, the ads I see are on the main page on my newsfeed. I use the app on my cellphone almost exclusively. I paid $40.00 for one year and it was a promo at the time to get a month free, so approximately $3.08 per month for 13 months. They may have changed the price since last fall though.

I used the free version for years and lost most of my weight with the free version. I purchased premium for the ability to change my calorie goal by day. Once it expired, I found going back to having ads was really annoying (though it never bothered me before), and I purchased another year of premium to have ad free…

Thanks a lot, now that song is stuck in my head. Da da da (da da da) Da da da (da da da) Da da da dun diddle un diddle un diddle uh da It has replaced my earlier earworm “My Corona” (a Covid19 take on My Sharona). 😂 On topic though, my longest walking attempts have always been thwarted by blisters forming, I’ve yet to find…

Ingredients, serving size, and weight stayed the same, I compared an old label to a new label (for the Amy’s). Regarding Doritos, 10 calories isn’t much, but it is surprising for such a large corporation in my opinion. Besides, if the formula for Doritos changed, I imagine backlash resembling the New Coke fallout. 😂

I eat a piece of something sweet almost every day. A square or two of Dove chocolate (~42 kcal per square), a mini snickers (~45 kcal), a Dum Dum sucker (~20 kcal)... I’ve found just a little something keeps cravings away. If I have a lot of calories left I might spurge on a full candy bar or gummy bears (those have SO…

The only thing that works for me is to immerse my hands (or feet, my feet get cold and numb, too) in as hot of water as I can tolerate until my hands feel completely warm to the core. Once that cold and numb feeling sets in, all other remedies... gloves, turning up the heat, putting on extra layers, drinking hot beverages,…

Wow! Fun graphs and info, thanks for sharing.

Well done!

I was looking into this, too! Question for those that have signed up. The website says you are assigned a coach. Do you HAVE to have a coach? I don’t care to have one and was worried about the MLM aspect of it all. The workout video library they offer looks good though!

Great work! I think you look even smaller than 170. Thanks for inspiring!

Well done!

That’s an amazing transformation, great work!

Great work!

That’s neat! Very detailed, thanks for sharing. I kept a spreadsheet for a while, it confirmed for me that my Calories Out per my FitBit were accurate for me and my weight loss was tracking along as expected (which confirmed my version of counting calories in was working). It’s fun to play with the numbers and feel…

Agree that if you have access to stairs and do multiple flights of stairs regularly, it gets easier over time. Strangely, one of the biggest indications that my calorie deficit is too large over too much time is when I start having difficulty with stairs. I am normally never winded doing one flight of stairs, but suddenly…

I’ve grown accustomed to weighing myself nearly every morning, which allows me to stay aware of my weight when I’m not tracking. I think it’s important to have some other method of accountability so that you don’t inadvertently undo the progress you’ve made. Whether that’s scale weight or a fitted pair of pants, something…
