I only came to say that, without fail, when I go into a calorie deficit I get really bad headaches (especially in the morning, I wake up with one and it’s quite strong and lasts most of the day). In my case though these headaches last for 1-2 weeks, then I feel back to normal (while still being in a deficit). Like you,…

Congratulations on your losses! Off topic, but I had to mention I used to own the shoes in your profile picture (I wore them out). They were so cute, I still miss them! :D

That’s very helpful, thanks for sharing in such detail.

Great work!

Very inspiring, thank you for sharing!

That’s really great! Good job on the papers and the garage sale, I like your idea about having a free pile for the stuff that doesn’t sell.

I have two bags of clothes ready to drop off for donation (16’s, 14’s, and XL’s). I kept two pairs of oversized pants to remind myself of my progress, but I’m finally getting rid of most of it. I was holding on to dress pants that were too big and decided to order a new pair in a 12 and they fit perfectly, even though I…

That’s good to know, thanks!

Very inspiring, great work! And congratulations!

That’s impressive! Although, if anyone were to have such perfect data around here, it would be you. :) I did something similar for my FitBit data, 4 years and my activity factor was surprisingly consistent from year to year, despite some months being very active, some months being sedentary, and even long months of injury…

Love that! I wish I could have a long talk with my past self. :D Great work with your weight loss and fitness!

That’s great! Curious, does the elliptical count steps (as if you were running) or do you have to manually enter it as a separate exercise? I’ve always wondered this!

Great work!

You look great! I can’t believe that’s only a 10 pound difference, looks like 20-30. Congratulations and keep up the great work.

Fantastic, great work!

That’s a great tip, thanks.

A good addiction to have, sounds like you’re on a roll! Good luck with your de-cluttering mission. I love the idea of photographing the artwork. I’m drowning in papers from my kids, everything they do seems precious and it’s hard to know what to keep and what to throw out.

Great work! I threw out a bottle of NoDoz this weekend that expired in 2009! Ugh! Obviously I rarely used them, but that’s still pretty bad. Going through all items is helpful, because it’s so easy not to “see” things we don’t use, even though they take up space.

What a sweet encounter, thanks for sharing.

That is fantastic, what a great accomplishment!

Just curious if the years were weight stable years or were you continuing to lose weight?

That’s a great tip as well! I’ve done the one touch rule with success. Sometimes it feels inefficient in the moment (when I’m running all over the house putting stuff away here and there), but then I think of all the extra steps I’m getting on my FitBit and it feels like a bonus.

Great tip! I’m bad about “finishing” a project in terms of doing the cleanup at the end. I do something 95% and then procrastinate the last 5%, but actually finishing a task 100% feels so much better! And having all your tools clean and ready for the next project (whether it’s cleaning, cooking, crafting, or anything else)…

Great work!

Neat tip! I learned something new today.

I’ve done the 5:2 diet at times with success. As mentioned above, for me it was a tool to create a calorie deficit. I counted my calories on maintenance days and on the 500 calorie days. I’m a bit skeptical of all the health benefits of fasting, but if they exist that’s a bonus I suppose. I’ve wanted to try the every other…

The tips mentioned above are very handy! Especially for any foods that are calorie dense and whose contents get stuck inside a measuring spoon, such as nut butter, cream cheese, butter, salad dressing, and other condiments. Weighing foods has become a very quick and easy measuring method for me, but it took a few months of…
