Wow, great work! You’re on a roll!

When I was my heaviest, I held on to a few pieces that were too small for me, but donated most of it. The items I kept I really really loved, even if I never fit into them again. When I lost weight and finally fit into my favorite blouse, it was a surreal moment. Otherwise, holding onto clothes that were too small and…

Size 8, wow! Great work!

Everything looks so clean, tidy, and pretty! Good work.

That’s a great accomplishment!

Not sure if the show is new (and if someone has already mentioned it I apologize), but just today on Netflix there is a Marie Kondo show that popped up for me called “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo.” I can’t wait to watch it! I’m in the USA (I know Netflix has varying offerings by country). The book was very helpful for me, I…

The comments from the people closest to us can hurt the worst. Keep up the hard work and dedication; feel proud of yourself. I agree, achievement in any aspect of life does not happen by pure accident. Also, some of my best and longest cardio sessions happened after being irked by my husband, it’s a great way to shake off…

Haribos... so yummy, so many calories! Good job putting some back. :) Before I started counting calories, I loved eating gummy candy. Now I hardly ever buy them; but when I do, I savor a small portion and eat it slowly. Calorie counting is eye opening.

Clothing NSV’s! Last time I went shopping at Dress Barn, I had to select 1X’s and 2X’s from the “big gal” side. This week I got to shop on the “normal size” side. The XL’s I tried on were too big and the L’s fit, despite me thinking they looked too small. I was worried I was an imposter even shopping on that side, which…

Amazing work, way to go! Your arms look great, are you using any specific lifting/ strength program?

This post is a great reminder on the importance of using a food scale! For the first time in about a week, I pulled my food scale out of the drawer to weigh some pickles... and there was Doritos dust on it. I was thinking, how did Doritos dust get on my scale? Then I remembered, oh yeah, that was me weighing Doritos last…

One alternative, depending on where you live, is delivered frozen meals. Google “frozen meals delivered” or “frozen meals delivered low sodium.” There has been an explosion of these types of places in the United States. Some are aimed at bodybuilders with careful consideration to macros and calorie counts. You can find…

I do not share my activity with the people I know, because it allows me the freedom to be myself, good activity weeks or bad. I have some super supportive people on my buddy list, but at the end of the day a stranger doesn’t care about my weekly average or whether or not I reached my step goal. My family? They would most…

Good read, thanks!

Love this thread! I went through the kitchen cabinet where we keep all our Tupperware/food storage type containers today. Took everything out, gave the cabinet a thorough cleaning, matched up containers with lids, and ended up with about ten things in recycling that either didn’t have a buddy or was too worn out to use…

Pick one or two things you know you can commit to for the month of September and just start doing it. Whether that’s perfect food logging (good, bad, or ugly), weighing yourself, bulk meal prep if you like cooking, a certain number of minutes per day of exercise, etc. Pick something basic that you know helps you when you…

700 floors is impressive! Good luck with your next big goal.

Another perk to a WiFi/Bluetooth scale is the blind weigh-in. The ability to weigh yourself daily and have the data stored for trends, whilst having a piece of paper or tape over the display, thereby not having to look at your weight daily if it drives you crazy.

That’s good news (I hope), thanks for sharing. I bought the Body scale a couple months ago and then heard all the rumors about Nokia axing the integrated health arm. I want my product to continue to work.

Love the pasta! A little too high in calories in my opinion, but okay as far as taste and surprisingly filling as well. Unfortunately it’s hard to find where I live and I have yet to see the tots anywhere. I’ll be on the lookout!

Super job!

Thanks for the info! I find my Calories Burned on my One extremely accurate (perhaps even underestimates my burn), so I definitely want to capture all the data from the Zip to compare.

I rounded up to 5'7" (I'm 5'6.5" - 5'6.75" depending on who is measuring). There's a guy on YouTube that has a whole series of videos about measuring height, he's obsessed. He demonstrates how stadiometer's can be inaccurate and how height can even change during the day (granted, we're talking extremely small changes). I…

Question: Can your head / area around your skull shrink from weight loss? (I searched the forums for 'head size' and came up empty). I've lost 40 pounds and my favorite Bluetooth headphones that I've had for 8+ years are now falling off my head every time I bend for something. I've heard of sunglasses or eye glasses…

I personally go with the higher number, just to be safe. I'm a big fan of the 100 calorie popcorn bags (though even here, read nutrition labels carefully... one common brand is 100 kcal for their 100 calorie popcorn; another common brand lists 110 calories for their 100 calorie popcorn). I also love my air popcorn popper.…

Yes, you can set a custom goal for each day of the week and change them around anytime you wish.

You're not alone! This happens to me when I'm in a calorie deficit, too, and I've played around with many of the great suggestions given above with no luck. My headaches abate after 2-3 weeks, but the mental fog seems to creep in and get worse with time. Eating at maintenance for a few days reverses that and I feel back to…
