I disagree. For me I can watch cals all day long but if they include alcohol I won't lose. If I completely cut the alcohol completely and never cheat I lose consistently. Even if I replace those calories I would normally budget for a glass of wine on something else. I know most will disagree but I have experimented too…

Do you still have SIBO? Has it affected your weight?
-
I also have been diagnosed with SIBO and my doctors want me to incorporate gluten and high fodmap food while on antibiotics but the gluten is making me feel so bloated and my weight is highly fluctuating daily. So frustrating!

Also try getting in more water. My tummy does the same thing. I have some food allergies/ sensitivities that I didn't know about. I also have to watch how much sodium I get. because my hands and feet will swell so bad it hurts.
Yes! That is very true and lately I've been terrible drinking water. I also have…

I've lifted for a while but took almost a year off and then started back. So maybe water retention. My hands and feet are quite swollen too. My stomach can swell two inches from morning to night so for some reason I have a fair amount of water retention

Have you taken measurements?

I have done CrossFit for 5 years and hiit classes the gym offers. Good trainers will strengthen the shoulder. It's not about pushing beyond your limits its about building those limits.

Besides, it messes up the body composition. It's harder to maintain or add lean mass when I drink alcohol. What good is maintaining weight if you still manage to have more fat and less muscle when all's said and done?
Yes this is me. Even if I maintain my body comp is thrown off. I'm glad I'm not the only one.…

Thanks for the info! This is what my nutritionist referred to. I'll watch my fat macros. I am very carb conscious but probably have too much fat. Thanks!
-
Thanks! This is what my nutritionist was referring too. For some reason I'm very sensitive when I have wine. Maybe I'll try it half the nights and see if that makes a difference.

Cheers to all my wine loving friends! You are cracking me up. I do think part of my problem is definitely figuring out daily calories for maintenance. How many cals do you try to consume? Do you track macros? Ive heard that if you track macros an alcohol carb should be multiplied x7?
-
I'm sure I would lose weight faster if I didn't drink, but you can pry my wine from my cold dead fingers. Lol! Glad I'm not the only one

This is my exact story too. I keep thinking it will level off but it isn't. If I knew it was water I would be ok but I've read that after increased exercise you actually can gain fat and lose muscle. This is if your macros aren't in line and I'm afraid this is happening. Scared that is worked hard and it will all be for not

Same here. But I partially expect it. I lost 20 pounds this last summer and have now decided it's time for body recomposition. However it seems my tummy is getting jigglier and my weight had gone up. I am terribly sore so I know fluid can build up. It it is discouraging however. I am terrified of allowing the wright to…

In sorry. That stinks but take it easy so you don't hurt yourself. You need to give your body rest so you can get better

I do a hiit class 3 days per week and crossfit and heavy lifting. Love them all. Just different. But it is as difficult as you want to make it or are able to make it. I highly recommend it!

I'm drinking a lot of water. But I wasn't when I was hosting
-
I have had the same thing. It's a horrible shock to the half awake brain! It's just water weight but why! Hang in there and drink extra water and move today. It will come off in the next couple days

I use walden farms chocolate dip or syrup with walden farms caramel and add to my coffee and blend. With a half tbsp coconut oil it tastes like a mocha. Satisfies my sweet took too
-
Why not add a little chocolate protein to your coffee and blend. It's easy for me to drink and gives me a bit of protein

This!!

I'm back at exercising this week. Last week did help with such low cals and cutting the intense exercise. But I am going crazy. I talked to my nutritionist and we are taking me out of fat loss, such low cals and low exercise. I'm eating at maintenance now and incorporating my hiit and crossfit exercises back. Thanks again…

It's so hard! Usually when it pops up a little I find within a few days I'll have a loss. It's like the fats last ditch effort of fighting. Hehehe. But terribly demoralizing. Hang in there. One meal at a time Thank you! I agree this is life now. How do you KNOW you've hit "goal"? If Weight loss is a marathon I wish there…

Try a chocolate smoothie with a tbsp of walden farms peanut butter. Horrible by itself but gives me the peanut butter taste when I need it with my smoothie

If I have the urge to eat something naughty it really helps to have a cup of tea with a tsp of stevia. It helps me. Never sounds good at the time but when I'm done with the tea the urge has always passes and I feel satisfied

Id go to some of the lchf support groups. I've lost 23 lbs and my calories were the same. For me it we defiantly macros although I'm sure someone will disagree with me and argue it's only cico that matter. But that wasn't true for me.
-
I also use walden farms chocolate and caramel with a half tbsp of coconut oil in my coffee. My version of half mocha/bullet proof coffee. And blend. So yummy!!

I have used the pb with celery but it isn't near the same thing. But I will use it in my chocolate protein smoothies and it does give me the taste in that scenerio
