Macros? How many calories are you eating? How much exercise are you getting?
-
A few things: macros? How much of this is carbs vs protein and fats. Up your protein and fats and lower your sugars and fats. I would get rid of anything that isn't real food like hot chocolate and red bull. I know you have a baby but those cant be good for the baby if your breast feeding. I know you want it to fall off…

HANG IN THERE! My body is doing the exact same thing. But after 5 weeks in seeing a whoosh. Also with such low calories how much exercise are you getting? I was eating similar macros and calories and working out hard. Cico right? Macros correct? Why not add some sweat?! Well, the opposite happened and my fat went up and I…

So easy to do. I've learned after 22 lbs that you have to keep going. When the scale goes up or stays the same you shouldn't freak out but literally just keep going. Every meal. Every glass of water. My weight loss comes in whooshes all the time. But this last one has taken 5 weeks. I was in tears some days. But it will be…

Why do you think it would all be water? Wouldn't it be water the beginning of a diet and I've been diligent for 3 months

No I was losing muscle and my fat had stayed the same. She wants my body to sustain the muscle and lose the fat. I've done some research on it and I see she is trying to keep glycogen levels up. And I was doing low carb and calorie and increasing exercise which my body stopped responding. So far down almost 4 lbs since…

No, I'm terrified without exercise I'll gain. Isn't it cico? But so far I have to say it seems my plateau is finally broken and I'm down about 4 lbs. the whoosh effect since taking a step back from hitting the gym so hard.

Omg!! Yes yes yes. I thought it was just me! I wonder why?!!

You only live once. Cheers and enjoy. Just enjoy yourself

I had a couple cheat days over a week ago and still holding firm and all I had was a couple glasses of wine and French fries-like a cup of them. 3 lbs up and I've only lost 1.5 of them. Doesn't it make you want to pull your hair out!! Hang in there. I know it isn't fat gain but still aggravating. And what's the…

I have noticed a definite correlation with a week I have even one drink and not losing weight even though every thing else is the same. For some people it isn't a big deal. But for me it makes a huge difference! I'm trying to stay strong and not have a glass of wine tonight. I want the loss more than the wine.

Thanks!

Your post wasn't rude. Obviously I can't type today. I was referring to others who, in the past, come up with rude responses. Yours was very informative. I may pm you if this week doesn't work

"Excess exercise can cause health problems, as well, especially if the diet is lacking in proper nutrition. Overtraining can signal the body to start burning muscle for fuel and store more fat, resulting in some weight gain." Found on a few medical/fitness sites. This is from livestrong.com. Quite interesting and will do…

I do both inbody scan and water submersion for testing. Both always agree with each other so I assume the accuracy is pretty high. I'm not talking an everyday calibration scale
-
I should have said that differently. Keeps the fat and loses muscle. To me that is a fat gain but I realize that I worded it incorrectly
-
Thank you. This makes sense now. I appreciate the factual information and not making me feel like an idiot like so many people. I obviously don't fully understand and am trying to get a grasp on proper nutrition and exercise. If I knew it then I wouldn't need them or mfp. So many times people are just rude. Thanks again. I…

I weigh on a body fat comp machine weekly and they swear too low intake and too much out your body saves fat. Makes no sense to me but they asked me to trust them. So here goes nothing
-
I'm on a very specified plan and everything is weighted and measured and nothing extra. We will see how this week goes I guess
-
They believe that the calorie restriction I am on -roughly 1200 cals a day with low car high protein and moderate fat, and exercising at the intensity I'm working out on causes fat gain. It sounds so backward but am living it when it comes to weekly workouts and then my weigh in. So they want me briskly walking but not…

Coconut oil is great. I use it as a creamer in my coffee. Oolong tea. Delicious and it does help. Interval training and weight lifting.

SEAHAWKS! But it's kicking *kitten* and taking names. Not letting obstacles get in your way. And then having some skittles

Whoop whoo. Congrats!

Thanks for the encouragement. LOVE that I need to be stronger than your shrillest and most nihilistic inner voice! Be that person your body needs! Also, how long would you avoid the scale? I feel like my little cheat wasn't worth the "gain" and I'll have to work twice as hard. But mentally it was well worth it for me!
-
Do you gain a lot of weight or just a few pounds water weight if you do this?
-
Unfortunately I've become obsessed. I weight myself a couple times a day. I need to put the scale away! It's not healthy. I realize weight loss is not linear but I'm slightly up and obsessed with getting back below THAT number
-
You need to read weight loss is not linear. Sometimes it will go up even. Keep on keeping on. No cheats and keep plugging forward.
-
I'd love to. It's a journey. Hang in there and just keep going!

I'm in the same boat. But in July I just decided it was only temporary and would help me achieve my weight goals. It's made a huge difference. I will save a protein shake for that time so I have something besides water to drink. Hang in there. It's only temporary.
