this is pretty much what i do. Im only 5ft 1 so my TDEE is lower..not sure how tall you are. It works for me. You're going to save money, spend less time in the kitchen thinking about food, and have more time doing things. I do a 5hr eating window (2p to 7p) and pretty much split my cals in half as you have noted...it…

^^BAM!^^ Winner post. I lost most of my early weight just counting cals and walking. I weight lift now, but it's my home gym...I'm a germ-o-phobe.

This is why I don't use the calorie burn estimate/calculation for exercise on here. I just calculate my daily calories to my TDEE minus 20% to lose weight. As I get toward, my goal, I'll increase cals for maintenance. I do too many variations of exercise to be consistent throughout the week and puttting it into play w/my…

^^^Yup! Great reply! I have two 'friends'..one is 20 years younger than the other...the younger one is light years more mature than the older one...and more respectful. So it doesn't matter.

it's the acid...rinse your mouth out with water right after you finish eating them, it should help...pineapple does it for me, as well...

OP, what most of us are saying, is go back to the kitchen, where weight loss is truly conceived...measure, measure, measure, and weigh, weigh. Weight training is a good way to change body comp without losing weight, you seem to be doing nothing but cardio. I've not lost any weight in a month, but my body comp looks great…

yes, because it has nothing to do with being 'offended', it has to do with the attention being focused on them - which causes them to be 'uncomfortable'. Some people are shy. Not everyone welcomes compliments. It's not right or wrong, it just is. Everyone is different.

Have my own gym at home now, but when I used to go, I had no problems hanging with the free weight crowd or any other crowd. The only 'bad' experiences I've had in gyms are the 'smells' - I have the nose of a cat...raunchy perfume (that stinky baby powder/diaper smelling one), body odor...and one dude who used to take a…

I'm fine with compliments, they come from a good place, usually; but not in the workplace. I'm all business and I don't think it's professional to mention someone's body in any way, shape or form at work...that makes me uncomfortable.

I like this idea, too. It shows love and compromise, while still getting your sweat on.

^^now that's a compassionate and selfless husband...it will only benefit both of you once she regains her usual strength...good for you for sticking by her and not thinking of yourself, only... :flowerforyou: sometimes other things are more important.

^^This. there is no finish line, therefore no rush. It's more about sustaining - and muscle will help you get there. (another reason why I don't go by the scale more than the mirror). Do you plan to work out 6 to 7 days as week when you're 70 - 80? Twice a day? Will you be sustaining this schedule on a regular basis?

I used to wear Asics, but now I have Saucony....I always try other brands and then migrate back to Saucony, as they feel best for my shape foot and running style. Get evaluated and save money by getting the correct type from the start. Forget the brand, as one other poster said, get fitted for the TYPE of shoe you need. I…

Stevia's super strong. I start with only a drop or two...and go by taste...it's better to add more than have it disgustingly sweet. You will need A LOT less than other sweeteners.
