  • @Wysewoman53 Thank you! Today was a low day 3574 steps. I got a tooth drilled out and filled today and my dentist was backed up by about an hour and a half. By the time I got home I wanted lots of ice pack for my fussy jaw and did not want to do much else. You guys step counting is inspiring! My favorite fit bit thing is…
  • Thank you for posting, I am in this same boat as well, wondering what to start cutting out. I've had 10-15 migraines a month since November and I am just -worn out-. After every test imaginable, my doc has suggested elimination diet.
  • I'd join now but only 5 days left! So far today: 4328 steps
  • I am excited to join the November group! I have had a rollercoaster of a year and a half, and I was hoping this fitbit would encourage more steppin'. A gentle group is just what I need, because whoo boy, I didn't realize how out of step I had become.
  • Oh! Great info @Machka9 thank you very much :)
  • What I did with my overnight oats: I looked in the jar. I tried a bite. And then I nuked it for 2 minutes in the microwave >.>. Improved everything considerably, haha!
  • I had a recipe for citrus pasta. It sounded really really good. I don't know if I cooked it wrong or what, but my results were not smashing at all.
  • I goals are to just keep chugging along! I have some serious mental challenges when it comes to going over what I had planned to, or having an off day, and what not. So the BIGGEST goal for me this month is self-understanding/forgiveness and enjoying the holidays (within reason!).
  • Look up Leslie Sansone on Youtube. There are a lot of walk-at-home videos that are of varying intensities. I find her a really supportive work out person to watch and her videos are fun!
  • I am 5 foot 5 and in high school I weighed 220 (but was active and healthy!) I weigh 251.7 right now. So I have about 31.3 pounds to go to get there :).
  • I have three and love them but I have to agree on being well thought out and placed well, to boot! Though... All of my three are on display in the summer, lol.

  • You guys are very perceptive in catching the Anxiety-riddled nature of this post. I do have General Anxiety Disorder (aren't I a hot-mess of ailments?). Again, THANK YOU. Reading this thread has been such an EYE opener, you have no idea. I'm not going to say it will stop the obsessing because if I could figure out how to…
  • Thank you all so much for your words of support! I have a sneaking suspicion that this Doctor will roll her eyes and tell me to suck it up, that it's for my health and don't I want to be healthy? Perhaps I'm just being a bit negative about the whole thing right now. This is a wonderful community, thank you!
  • The switch is definitely on, it's the obsessing and stress that just isn't good. I am even getting annoyed at myself, to a level that isn't very healthy for anyone. I want this. I am -doing- this. I feel disgusting at my current size. A good thing that happened today though, I am sitting down comfortably and a wee bit…
  • Shinies! I love love love jewelry and tech so my first goal (30lb by the new year) is a new Razr Blackwidow Chroma keyboard. My little rewards for pounds off (5lbs off) are cheap things like a new costume jewelry ring or necklace or what not. My Big BIG goal, is a new all-in-one desktop (This will be at 50-75lb off).…
  • Hi! I agree with whatever works for you. I have just started seriously walking down this road per doc's orders (It helps so much to have someone you have to be accountable to), and she said to weigh once a week. I have been watching my weight daily though! The morning weigh in is what I count, because I can watch my weight…
