  • This imy first attempt at sharing photos. Bear with me... I've lost 32 pounds since the first picture was taken.
  • I'm 5'4", 34 and i've been on MFP for 130 days. This is my first real attempt at weight loss. Start Weight- 194 (snug size 16, XL) Current Weight - 164 (loose 14, M/L) I put 2 pounds back on since Christmas, but I'm hoping to get to -35 pounds by mid January for my 35th birthday. I'm not sure what my ultimate goal is.…
  • Good point. I'll leave it as is. I'm way under my calories today anyway. Thanks!
  • 5'4" and my goal is 125. Once I get into the "healthy" range I will reassess. I haven't been "healthy" since high school or college and honestly, never weighed myself until recently. I may find that 130 or even 140 is just fine for me. I still have over 20 pounds to get there. I'd really like to be a size 8, whatever…
  • 30 DS is not enough for me. I do it 2-3 times a week and usually run 5K on the same day. The other days I do longer DVDs like Biggest Loser Boot Camp or Biggest Loser Cardio Max. I *heart* Bob Harper!
  • I was told by someone in the dairy industry that when milk nears or just passes expiration, it is repasturized and used in chocolate milk. But I could have misunderstood. I try to only drink locally produced milk anyway.
  • I had to get mine out to check. I still have 12 pounds to go.
  • I learned that 1 oz of breast milk uses up about 20 calories. I exclusively pumped so I always knew how much I was producing and how much Kiddo was drinking. By 6 months I had dropped to 3 pump sessions a day and was producing about 25 oz a day. So 500 calories? At her peak, she was taking 40-45 oz of milk a day. Of…
  • I'm 5'4". I'm not sure if I'd call myself a success story but I've lost 20 of the 70 pounds that I'd like to lose in 75 days. I didn't take any pictures when I started, I don't even have a full length mirror in my house... HW - 196 SW - 194 CW - 174 GW - 125 I'm losing 1-2 pounds a week eating 1500 calories a day. I try…
  • I just got to a 14 too, yay!! I bought two pairs of $70 jeans to celebrate. Hopefully I'll need new one again by the new year...
  • I bought two pairs of running capris. A size smaller than usual and I feel HOT in them! My butt is finally shrinking. The first 15 pounds came off my face, arms and boobs.
  • Great goal! I was thinking 5 by Thanksgiving, so 10 by Christmas to doable! I would love to go to a Christmas party and be able to say I've lost 30 pounds this fall!!
  • I have the same issue, usually only in the summer whne I wear skirts or dresses. I use Monistat chaffing gel/power. It works great but doesn't last all day, it has to be reapplied. (It also makes a great make-up primer!) I found that just wearing bike shorts under skirts is much more comfortable though.
  • I do 30DS but I don't stick to the program. I just do it when I need a quick 20 min workout. I really like it and have been doing it off and on for 3 months. I haven't tried level 3 yet, but I think I will soon. I;ve lost 19 pounds and 8 inches from my hips and waist alone, but like I said, I do lots of other workouts too.
  • I was at 1200 for the first month on MFP. I lost consistently but my doctor encouraged me to bump up my calories to avoid plateauing. I've been steadily losing 1.5-2 pounds a week on 1500 calories. I try to add 300-400 calories of excercise a day but I don't eat those calories most days. I just use them as a cushion for…
  • Congrats! I was just about to post that I ran my first 5K today, without having any training to speak of. In my run, the last .1 mile was the steepest part of the whole run, up hill. I sprinted the best I could and made it in 37:11. I am more proud that I didn't walk at all thant the time.
  • My face and boobs first, now I'm notcing my stomach too. My hips and thighs have always been big so that will be the last to go, I'm sure. Once a pear, always a pear...
  • I still have a hard time with this one. Some days I really miss the "bad old days" when I ate anything and everything.
  • I'd love to do this too, but I'm so scared that I'll fall off the wagon and have to go out and buy XL and 16/18 again.
  • I've started pulling clothes from the back of the closet that haven't seen the light of day since I got pregnant over three years ago. I'm a little diappointed that I haven't needed to buy new jeans yet but I'm on the smallest notch on all my belts.
  • The place we (used to) go to has Steamed Delight. It's beef, chicken, shrimp, carrot, bok choy, and lots of other veggies with a black bean sauce on the side. I used to order it all the time before my diet to share with my toddler. I still don't trust myself to order out, but that's what I would get.
  • I usually plan my meals and snacks for the day in the morning and often pre-log so I'm not as tempted to go off course.
  • I am using it but mostly as a motivator and not to measure my calories for MFP. I tried but I felt like some days it was giving me way too many calories and other days not enough. It also doesn't measure my steps accurately when pushing my stroller. I posted a few weeks ago about how to add in your Fuel Band calories, but…
  • I'm a little taller, 5'4". Currently at 188. Most of my goals are regarding BMI and clothing sizes. 1. Size 14 by jean season (about 175ish) 2. Size 12 by spring (150ish) 3. Size 10 in a year from now. (130ish) I was really comfortable in college as a size 8 but I'm not sure I can get there. I just want to feel comfortable…
  • I've also been here just a week and would like to lose 40-50 pounds. I'll add you.
  • I finally said good bye to all my "skinny" clothes (size 12 jeans) this spring at a charity garage sale. I have one pair or size 14 that survived from before my daughter was born. My first goal is to get into those before jean season starts and to my pre-baby weight of 175. Goal number 2 is my wedding weight/size of 150…
