I'm 5'4" SW: 194 lbs CW: 154 lbs GW: 130 lbs I've been as low as 142 in the last year but I had a hard time staying there. At 142 I had a few people tell me I should be "done" but I still felt jiggly even after Insanity and running 100 miles a month. I've been in a rut for about a year and I'm trying to get going back the…

How about quinoa? It can be used as a substitute for either rice or oatmeal, savory or sweet. I have found a lot of recipes on pinterest but I typically just use it instead of rice. I've made a spanish-style quinoa with tomato paste, onions and bell pepper as a side dish. My favorite is my "power bowl" which is quinoa…

I lost 7 pounds the first week with 50 pounds to lose. I agree with PP that 2 pounds a week is very agresssive for a goal of 20 pounds lost.

I haven't done new pictures in a while but I also haven't lost any weight in a year...

2 years on MFP. 194 to 144. I'm up 10 pounds from my lowest weight but I'm working on that...

A cup of black tea as soon as I wake up works for me.

I lost 50 pounds in about 10 months and I don't have any loose skin to speak of. I still have about 20 pounds and some toning to do. I think the key is to balance a reduced calorie diet, cardio and strength training. I do have a bit of a waddle on my neck that I didn't have before and I think my face has aged since I lost…

I've never been to the gym except for a couple classes with a friend. I run 20-25 miles a week and do a few DVD's like Insanity or ChaLeAN Extreme. These pix are pre-ChaLean but you get the idea.

This post made me smile! If you're new to running, try a 5K first.

I am starving all day on my weight lifting days and yes, my stomach growls. I seem to always go over on those days but I try to make sure I'm heavy on the protein those days.

My goal when I joined was to get to 125. I've been stalled in the mid 140's since July, mostly my own doing. I don't think I'll ever get to 125 but I know I have more weight to lose. I think I'd rather concentrate on building muscle and reducing my body fat. I've being doing Chalean Extreme for 3 months and not lost much…

No recent sunburns. Clothing shouldn't be the issue since they only show up in uncovered areas. Showering immediately is not usually an option for me. I have to sneak in my workouts before my kiddo wakes, then it's breakfast and chores before showers.

Were you always heavy? - I've been over weight since college but heaviest after having my daughter and becoming a stay a t home mom What do you feel most attributed to your success? - MFP! Tracking my intake was the game changer. I've exercised and stayed active but usually just ate lots more after every workout. What were…

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! It was good to remind myself of how far I've come rather than what I've got left to do. These last 20 pounds will be a huge struggle!

I live on these muffins. http://thejonesesthree.blogspot.com/2012/03/banana-oatmeal-muffins.html I use egg substitute, plain non-fat yogurt, and 4 tbs of Truvia baking blend. 65 calories each! I've added strawberries, pretty good. Used insant oats, works fine. Skipped the blender, tastes great. Used applesauce, tastes…

Month Two is longer workouts. The longest day is an hour and 15.

I use my HRM and add my own entries. If you don't have a HRM, maybe log it as circuit training?

Great work, you look fantastic! I'm half way through Insanity, I just did Max Plyo for the first time today. Ugh! I'm not seeing results on the scale or tape measure but I feel more toned and fit. I definitly plan to finish.

Yay!! Congratulations!

I'm 5'4" and 144 pounds. I'm comfortable enough at this weight to take a few weeks off to maintain and tone. I'm not thrilled with how I look and I'd like to lose another 20 pounds but I started at 195 so I'm a lot more confident and comfortable than I was 9 months ago. I wear mostly 8's, a few 10's and 6 at LOFT. I'm…

My face, then my boobs. :-(

This is me minus 50 pounds! I still have 20 pounds and a lot of toning to go. My butt and thighs are still a flabby mess...

Here's mine. This is a 50 pound loss over 280 days.

I prefer to run outside and find I burn more calories when I run outside but I wouldn't give up my treadmill. I can run while my kid is sleeping, while the weather is bad, while my kid plays in the comfort of her own space. It is nice not to always strap her into the stroller and stop evey 5 minutes to fill her demands.…

I don't have a long term/final reward in mind but I promised myself when I hit 50 pounds lost I could buy a 2 bottle fuel belt and a new arm band for my phone. Only 2.5 pounds to go!

I go for a run. I also try to use MFP to plan and I pre-log my day whenever possible to give myself a better idea of where my day is headed. I like to do my research before I go out to dinner especially and pre-log so I'm not as tempted to make poor choices. That being said, I give myself at least one "free" meal a week…

Congrats!! Your story is very similar to what I hope to accomplish. I started at 195 and 5'4". I'm hoping to get to get to 124. Great job and thanks for the motivation to lose the last 20.

Last night was our version of Pad Thai (ramen, chicken, peppers, lots of green onion and cilantro). Tonight was homemade chicken soft tacos. Tomorrow is balsamic pork tenderloin and light mac and cheese. Yes, we save most of our calories for dinner...

My first 5K took me over 45 minutes to compete. I've been running 4-5 times a week for almost 6 months and I still can't seem to break a 30 minute 5K. I've decided that I just wasn't made to run fast but I can run long. I'm up to 10 mile runs now but only run about 11.5 minutes/mile. Most of my running buddies are doing…
