Yeah, Jillian is great! I mean she is. Crazy B.... But she can get a lot of work done in a short amount of time. I've heard a lot of people say Shred helped prepare them for Ripped so you should be good jumping into it. I went right into Ripped after not exercising for years and struggled. I finally couldn't keep up with…

Hi, my name is Heather. I am 27 a first time mom of a crazy 16 month old girl and ready to get back into shape. I am fortunate to be tall (first time in my life to say that, lol) because I've been able to carry my weight. When I committed to starting Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30, I calculated my BMI and was completely…

Yikes!! I am no where near ready for week 4. I lack the strength, coordination and stability lol! Sooooo... Back to week 1, hopefully I will have the strength the second time around. Way to go everyone for making it! It's been a great month :-) 10 lbs down thanks to Ripped!

Hey, I am 5'10 and 210 lbs. I started Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 and am in week 3 currently. It is a challenging (less intense than Insanity and P90X though) workout that only lasts about 30 minutes. I have already dropped 8 lbs, 4 inches off my hips and 1-1.5" off everything else! I definitely recommend it. I am…

I'm 5'10 and had never struggled with my weight until I had my baby. My starting weight was 218, I had no idea I was considered "obese" I knew I was chunky, but carried my weight so well since I am tall. When I was in high school I was 145 and too skinny for my bone structure, I had sharp hip bones popping out. So now, I…

I was never comfortable in my height. It seemed all my friends were short and I just seemed tall and awkward. I didn't use my height to advantage, such as playing sports and slumped like crazy, wishing to be a few inches shorter. Now, I try to remind myself to stand straight and tall, but still find myself slumping quite a…

In my opinion, as long as you get the work in, that's all that matters. It doesn't have to be consecutive days. Personally, though, if I had to take more then 3 days off in a row I would repeat the week. But that is just because I'm trying to push myself pretty hard to stay on track with this.

So, since Jillian has kicked my butt so well I looked up her other workouts and found this giving brief descriptions and reviews of all her others. I thought this was a good resource and I wanted to share this for anyone else wanting to do another one of her workouts.…

Thanks, guys! I am so impressed that I managed those results... it has boosted my motivation for sure! Day 2 today. From the get-go it's crazy! I have really bad balance and stability, but was able to do a little better today. And cycle 1 with the bear crawls, duck walks.... OMG, my legs!!!!! I can't do rock and roll abs…

Man, it's always funny when you advance a week you are watching and trying to keep up and all you think is, "WTF is that?! I can't do that!" I know I'll get into the swing of things in a day or two, but wow! I will say this workout moved really fast this week. Today was day 1 for me and even as I struggled and missed a lot…

I felt the same way and almost gave up, but then realized the more I try, the more I'll get the hang of it. Like jillian said perfect is boring and it is all about the effort you give. I'm on day 4 and all my moves are still modified and I still can't do a few things. But I attempt to do them correctly each time and if I…

Hey guys! I'm on day 4 of week 2 now. I am feeling pretty good but have been struggling with my knees hurting and today during the sumo pose I felt my hip pop and am afraid I may have injured it. I really don't want to break my streak and finish the 30 days with only 1 rest day a week, but we'll see. I am even doing weekly…
