Thank you so much for your posts! I really enjoy following your progress and you inspire me to keep up my own running (even in the cold, lol)

Oh and how could I forget this... I hit a new personal best running yesterday - 8 miles with an average of 9:50 per mile. Best shape of my life at age 31! I think it deserves mentioning that it was 48 degrees outside with a heavy mist and north wind. I don't want inclement weather to be my excuse for not keeping up on my…

I fit into a skit that I haven't worn in over 10 years... and it fits better now than it did 10 years ago.

I love MFP for the same reason! It really opened my eyes on the big picture. Keep going strong and best of luck to everyone going into the holiday season!!

Way to keep at it, running a full 22 minutes is definitely something to be proud of!!! That is a great accomplishment and more than most can do! Even if you don't turn running into a life long activity, the long term benefits are still there. Once you complete the program, you will always have that satisfaction of know you…

Although I am not a guy, I have similar issues. I am at a total loss of 120 lbs. I had issues 'up top' and found a very supportive sports bra but I also have loose skin at the bottom of my belly. I went from baggy sweat pants in the beginning to tighter spandex-ish pants. I wore them a little high and my shirt covered it…

The race atmosphere is very exciting. I have done three 5k races (one unexpectedly while still on the C25K program and two after I graduated) and each race I achieved my new personal best time. Just like running becomes addictive, so does participating in races. A new setting, a new course and a whole bunch of people with…

You are awesome! You are a great inspiration and I think your post was very creative as well. I like the story line with pictures. Creative and determined... I wish I was more like you! (*)

So proud of you! You totally rock!!!! Happy birthday to you too! Great way to celebrate your birthday is a new personal record, definitely a reason to smile. :D :D :D

I made a post a few months back when I graduated. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1422717/finished-c25k-my-journey-and-tips-from-a-new-graduate/p1 Here is the part with just my own personal tips from my own journey. I am sure things are different for everyone but I am just excited for you and wanted to…

I love your posts and I am going to follow this tread until I see you reach 'graduation day'. :) I successfully finished C2K5 a few months back and I swear by this program to everyone! Just keep at it. I lost weight doing this program but more importantly I gained so much mental strength. Your body is capable of so much…

Awesome... must have felt great!

Well done, you rock!

Awesome job! Keep at it and stay positive!

Love this! I struggled for years conceiving my first child and I know the joy of finally getting that precious gift. Weight played a large roll in my struggles as well. I am so happy for you. =)

Last week I ran 7 continuous miles without stopping. Never done that in my life and I actually got a little bit emotional when I finished my workout. It is hard for me to believe that my body actually did that.

You are so awesome and I love your message! Thank you for the inspiration this morning! Congrats on reaching your goal. You go girl!

I had lost at least 40 lbs and nobody (outside of family) had said anything. People immediately started commenting when I bought new clothes. I think co-workers and friends see you in the same clothes and don't over analyze your figure day-to-day. However when you have a new shirt/outfit they actually take a moment to…

Thank you all for the support and encouragement. I am not perfect person and I have struggles and self doubt all the time. I worry about losing weight, I worry about gaining weight, I worry that I have spent to much time on myself and not my kids... but at the end of the day I try to just listen to both my heart and my…

You totally rock! You are a great inspiration and I bet you feel fantastic. Have you transitioned into maintaining instead of loss? I have about 15-20 more lbs to lose before I hit my long term goal (I have lost almost 120 lbs to date) and I am already worried/thinking/stressing about having to change my diet from 'loss'…

Thank you all for your support. I agree that 'my results are not typical'. Per my original post, I am no doctor and just wanted to share my own personal journey. I never expected the results I got. Oh... and I did have a secret weapon for extra calories burned per day. It's a bit personal but I have been breastfeeding up…

For my face comparison photo... I went and found the same shirt and necklace I was wearing in the 'before' photo for a better comparison. The shirt is way to big to wear now-a-days!!! :)

Love it! Great post and keep going strong on the C25K. You can do it! I completed this a couple months back and I never thought I would be able to do it. I just listened to the lady on the app (which on some days I liked and some days I hated!!) and kept going forward. My husband just finished the program last week as…
